"You know I had to tell a kid that he couldn't order Starbucks for his mom to deliver to my class today?" Grace chirped between bites of her sandwich, setting it down only so she could focus on the bag of chips Mar had secured her - her favorites, some weird brand of kettle chips. The pair of them sat stationed at either side of Grace's desk, sitting in content silence for the past few minutes as they enjoyed the spoils Mar had come back from the deli with. "I know his mom would have done it, too. That's the worst part. I don't remember a single time growing up that I called my mom from school. For anything." She shook her head, still in a fog of disbelief. "I also heard there was a fight scheduled to happen tomorrow after school, but I didn't hear who or what the context was. Did you hear anything?"
