Family doesn’t have to be people you’re related to, my family is part bio, part marriage, part absolutely no connection but they’re important to me and life long relationships. One of those relationships is my best friend/platonic other half and their bio parents aren’t family but they have me, my mom, and the rest of our family. My point isn’t “go build yourself the perfect family” that pretentious af, what I’m trying to say is family can be more than what you originally thought it was
@mar-se
I know, I’ve been trying to think of it that way but it’s mostly frustrating for me to have a family who doesn’t seem to understand (or care about) the pain I’m going through and my need to work through it all on my own time and not theirs.
But I have come to think of my tumblr friends as my family.
Actually scratch that I do remember what post it was from, I reblogged your list of things to do in a depressive episode and again I’m glad you’re doing better
Oh aha! Thank you and
