Headcanon

Being human was hard for It to process. The emotions were the most troublesome thing to overcome, as a side effect of this, as a child/infant Mariku cried, threw fits, and would become surprisingly affectionate at a drop of a hat. It wasn't until It was older that It got a hold of itself.

Headcanon

Mariku will shed, just like regular snakes do. For him it's incredibally irritating and it's hard for him to sit back and let the skin fall off naturally. It'd be like having your entire body having a sunburn, and having your skin fall off because of it. He can't always reach the skin on his back, so it's not uncommon for him to use logs.

He burns his skins afterwards, not wanting to leave evidence of his presence.

Mariku has no prized possessions. He couldn’t hold onto anything he had, especially after he was captured.

Mariku’s happy memory was when he was young, he remembers dimly that his brother used to seek protection whenever bigger hatchlings used to come hassle him. It made him proud to please his other half.

Sports for Mariku involved hunting. He was very adapt to killing things as a child, but catching them originally gave him problems. He still can not hunt with a long range weapon.

Mariku is a light sleeper, and if you wake him up there’s a big chance you may end up bitten.

Mariku once had a crush on a female naga who was an adult when he was only a young teenager. He hasn’t seen her since he was banished from his tribe.

Mariku doesn’t like movies. They meld between real life and fantasy, and he reacts violently when startled.

Mariku can never really get warm when he’s cold.

Mariku is used to extremely hot weather, but that doesn’t mean he enjoys it. He likes hotter weather, but pushing it to high make shim uncomfotable.

Headcanon

Mariku doesn't have a 'butt'. His back molds down to his tail, his actual anus is at the end of his tail, since his digestive track goes throughout his entire body.

Mariku's hair stands on end because he hasn't ever brushed it. If he did, it would mostly lie flat, and he would look a lot more like Malik.

How big are? Like the length of your tail, and the size of your torso? Are you larger than humans, in your human-like body parts. What is your biology like. (If Mariku can not answer, can the mun?)

Mariku stands about 6 foot. Like most black mamba, he can stand about 1/3 his length when he reaches. However, to be comfortable, he only stands only 1/4 his length. So he’s about 24 feet long in total. 

His torso is about the size of a normal human, since his female counterparts traditionally lure in prey by pretending to be frail hurt women in the brush. 

His fangs, though mun draws them exaggerated, are only slightly longer than normal canine teeth, until he bites. Then muscles in his upper jar push down and make them ‘extend’.

He eats with his mouth, and his digestive system comes down the length of his body like most snakes. He can unhinge his jaw, but his human-like anatomy means that when he tries, his skin rips down to muscle tissue.
