Happy Birthday Marc Bolan! I was hooked the minute I saw the first album cover and put it on my turntable in my college dorm . Took acid and never heard anything like it before. Marc’s unique voice and Middle Earth lyrics ( thanks for the lyrics sheets inside the first 3 albums!!) struck a cord with me that lasted his entire career. Album Number One Hundred Thirteenth “You Scare Me to Death” is a posthumous album credited to #marcbolan of #marcbolanandtrex #trextribute Released in 1981 by record label Cherry Red, it is the first LP of material released after his death in 1977. My copy is on Cherry Red Records licensed by Plexus Trading - KMH 709229. The album consists of outtakes and demos recorded by Bolan in 1966. Some of the songs would later be recorded by Bolan's band, Tyrannosaurus Rex. Most of these tracks have also been released in their original form on the album, The Beginning of Doves (1974).
