To Marceline: Do you think there’s an Earth where we both have doppelgangers? They might have met differently. To Marceline: Never mind, I don’t know why I’m asking that, just ignore it.

After opening all of the windows Vivian sat in the middle of the building. The floors still needed to be done. The whole building had started to come together and it was all thanks to that first day with Marceline. If she hadn’t stumbled by and jump started everything Vivian would be at a loss. She wouldn’t know what to start with. But for now she opened up the cans of paint stirring them. It was then when she realized she had forgotten to grab the paint brushes.
Closing the cans Vivian got up and left the building. She headed down the street towards the supply store where she had gotten her things from. Sighing a bit as she walked down the street she stopped spotting Marceline. A large happy smile bloomed on her face as she skipped over to her. “Mars!”

The shelter is taking up more and more of his time, of late--it needs increasingly more supplies, more staff, as word of it spreads quietly under the radar to metahumans across Central City and even into the other cities--Star, Gotham, Bludhaven, Hub. The news is creeping out, slowly beyond his reach, which also means he needs to heighten security.
He’s just finishing up a meeting with the small, private firm he contracts said security and is dismissing them from his office when the receptionist calls to inform him that someone is looking for the man in charge.
He tells him to let her up, and in moments, there’s a soft knock at his door before it cracks open, and Amir waves his hand to gesture her inside.
“ What can I do for you?”
