Hamuera heads to the Izakaya Ippai and meets a very cute sim his age named Marcelo West, who moved to Mt. Komorebi with his moms when he was 7. Hamuera's heart races as he and Marcelo flirt lightly in between their card game, before they exchange numbers. Hamuera, who's usually shy, gets a boost of confidence and winks at Marcelo, telling him he'll be sure to text him, Marcelo laughs and winks back at him. "I look forward to that," he says as Hamuera blushes. After running into a few sims his moms know, such as Emiko Okada, (his cousins Hinata, Izumi, Rina, and Hana's grandma), and chatting with them, he texts the family group chat to let his moms know he's on the way back, and telling them he met someone.
Mom: Tell me everything when you get home!
Mama: What's their name and where do they work?
Piper: That's awesome, H. Are they cute? Also, Cam and Lani say hi.
Hamuera grins, and quickly replies.
Hamuera: His name is Marcelo and he's around my age, he works as a programmer, and he's extremely cute and sweet. Also, tell them I said hi too, Pipes.
The group chat blows up after this, and Hamuera continues to text his excited family as he heads back to the rental.
