Hamuera heads to the Izakaya Ippai and meets a very cute sim his age named Marcelo West, who moved to Mt. Komorebi with his moms when he was 7. Hamuera's heart races as he and Marcelo flirt lightly in between their card game, before they exchange numbers. Hamuera, who's usually shy, gets a boost of confidence and winks at Marcelo, telling him he'll be sure to text him, Marcelo laughs and winks back at him. "I look forward to that," he says as Hamuera blushes. After running into a few sims his moms know, such as Emiko Okada, (his cousins Hinata, Izumi, Rina, and Hana's grandma), and chatting with them, he texts the family group chat to let his moms know he's on the way back, and telling them he met someone.

Mom: Tell me everything when you get home!

Mama: What's their name and where do they work?

Piper: That's awesome, H. Are they cute? Also, Cam and Lani say hi.

Hamuera grins, and quickly replies.

Hamuera: His name is Marcelo and he's around my age, he works as a programmer, and he's extremely cute and sweet. Also, tell them I said hi too, Pipes.

The group chat blows up after this, and Hamuera continues to text his excited family as he heads back to the rental.

Morgan peered down at the coffin in the crypt. It was the only one that looked this elaborate, and she wondered if Vlad was secretly sleeping inside. With only one way to find out, she started to lean down to open it...

Ekade: Ma'am?

The caretaker startled Morgan & she abandoned her plan. Not wanting to get kicked out, she rambled off questions about the urns on display, implying that she was interested in them.

Ekade: ...and this coffin right here is the most expensive one. Mr Straud loves it.

Morgan: Can I see the inside? What is it lined with?

Ekade quickly bent down to open the casket, and Morgan was a bit disappointed to see that no one was inside.

Morgan: Oh. Well, um, since this is Mr Straud's favorite...when can I speak with him about it?

Once again, Ekade mentioned that Mr Straud usually came in the evenings.

Ekade: ...but he also works from home at the Hay Hill Landing estate.

Morgan worked so hard to stay out of Vlad’s clutches. If you had told her 20 years ago that Caleb would be her future ex-husband, and that she'd be on the search for Vlad, she would have thought you were crazy.
