   I still want to know what were in those photo’s she gave Tsukiyama that then were put into Eto’s hands.

   We haven’t really seen her with Goat, Or really seen where she has been lately. There is some insinuation she had contact with Hide in the past so I wonder if she’ll be the bridge that pushes the group Hide’s with to meet with Kaneki.

   I adore her and Shuu’s friendship and want to see more of them together.

   Her attitude or even flippancy towards her own demise would be really interesting to explore.

i think it boils down at who was the strongest, there where countless time karren could had bailed out with tsukiyama when haise was in the floor (well eto was still there and she definitely wanted to prove if kaneki was ready to take on arima later) yet she clearly wanted to kill him and tortured him until his brain was oozing honey and it finally made him remember all the trauma at once, this was not going to end well for anybody since eto staged it very masterfully

Hmm, yeah. Eto says so pretty much herself, that she wanted to see what Kaneki would do when he set this situation up. The way Kaneki responds is in a very Eto-like way too. Which is to say he found a proxy of himself and then criticized that person for exhibiting similiar flaws. Eto has this exact same pattern too, Kurona and Nashiro are one eyed ghouls who are eventually abandoned by their father. Hinami is somebody who lost every support figure in her life around the time she was fourteen years old. Karren is an orphan ghoul who had her entire family destroyed by the CCG and was left entirely alone. All of these ghouls have parallels with parts of Eto’s own life.

also count hina in the equation, had he gone and saved tsukiyama and karren hina would had been killed by akira, still a shitty move though

I mean Kaneki stopped visiting her for six months and only saved her so she could be there to mourn his suicide and feel so sad and love him so much for his total heroic act of throwing himself at Arima to save her, so I don’t think HInami was his number one priority in the situation.
