Lehigh solidarity for the seniors! Marching 97 alum from all over the country have been sending you good wishes (and psyche) to cheer you up.
Rearing and Tearing around campus with Lehigh’s Marching 97 makes this the best day of the year!

Spirit week is off to a fantastic start! Lord Mayor Catherine Longworth visited campus to present The Lehigh Marching 97 with their Official Invitation to the London New Years Day Parade 2018. Watch a video of her visit here!

10 amazing things you might not know about the Marching 97 eco flame
1. You know the day before the Lehigh Laf game, when the band marches through all the classrooms? This is called the "eco flame".
2. Dress in layers. You will be marching, skipping, and maybe even climbing trees.
3. Everyone loves the Eco Flame!
4. Doorways are a problem. If you see the band coming, be kind, hold the door open.
5. Stairs are not a problem. Even if your class is on the 3rd or 4th floor, they will find you. #stairpride
(Speaking of stairs, if you are following the band through Packard Lab, try not to be by the drums in the enclosed stairwell, even if they are your favorite instrument #loud!)
6. Speaking of drums, we learned that our favorite drum part is the cadence. Speaking of favorites, the band loves to play the fight song Goblet.
7. The Marching 97 loves tumblr!
8. When you hear "You are my Sunshine" get out of the way! The band is about to move on.
9. Eco Flame/Bed Races day is one of the best days of the year!
