🌊MARCHING FISHES!!!🌊

Joe's character development has always been one of my favorites, next to Mimi and Kairi. I think part of it is the organized chaos of his character, and his complex crest (reliability in the English dub, but more along the lines of sincerity/honesty in Japanese). I admittedly took an easy route with Joe's team, since Gomamon is seal-like and their signature move has colorful and expressive fish allies:

Walrein because Gomamon is Best Seal-Walrus Boi™ (don't @ me)

Alomomola is a pink thing.

Seaking is an orange fish. That's it.

Fun fact, Luvdisc* is the only yellow fish pokémon.

Basculin ♂️ is green, and has eyes closer in shape to the green fish seen during the marching fishes attack.

Sharpedo was the most suitable blue fish pokémon I could find. Much like in marching fishes, it looks angrier than the rest.

Awww, what a cute idea! He’s no Busby Berkeley, but Gomamon must be really stepping up his game for the Digimon New Year’s talent show (Jyou’s not pictured, but he’s present at all their rehearsals and is so proud of Goma and his fish friends. SO PROUD!! T^T).
