normally sharp eyed gaze was dulled slightly from the intake of champagne –––– oh what a delight ! how georgie just ADORED champagne. she knew better than to intake anything of the sort, but ( PARDON HER FRENCH !! ) hell, she was utterly WEAK for the bubbly poison. ( metaphorically, of course! ) tiers part and present to him two flashing rows of pearly whites and oh what a joy she pretended to be !  a hum of amusement passes through newly pursed lips ––––uh oh !! here it comes !       ❛ –––your mustache sure looks a LOT sillier than it does in tha’ papers. ❜

           edric stared at his little wife from his over stuffed chair with a mild frown.

it was the moment that he had more or less been prepping for all day. 

the rare affections that he granted her. some saw it as cruel but at times it was what kept her a steady distance. it wasn’t that she wasn’t pretty. but perhaps the lack of love he would ever have in his heart. it involved motivation and goodwill to have days like this.

a gentle pat of his knee was anything that was needed to get her to come crawling upon his lap.
