Marchosias is such a wild boss character to me
Like the obvious joke could be "haha wolf atheist" but he's not even that he is fully aware the gods exist, the crowns have power, and the lamb is a godly being due to the red crown
He's just fully committed to fighting the gods
He fully embodies the sentiment of wanting to throw hands with god because he both threatens to AND goes through with it
And when you finally defeat him and try to indoctrinate him he hits you with the "I'D RATHER DIE STANDING THAN LIVE ON MY KNEES" and splits himself in half just so he can kill himself and not become one of your followers because he knows you can just do that with the red crown if he lets you
The best part? Marchosias was fucking RIGHT He was RIGHT that the rot was bad news and needed to be handled somehow he was RIGHT about its harmful effects on people he was RIGHT that it could destroy everything
Marchosias is one of the most based motherfuckers in Woolhaven and I just know he was doing victory laps in the land of the dead like "YOU FUCKERS DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME BUT I WAS RIGHT HAH"

*maybe, some people say shes a hyena (which technically aren't canines, actually being closer related to cats) but A) I don't remember there being any indication of that in the game and B) thematically her being a hunting dog makes more sense. Like. Her job was literally to sniff out and hunt down the lambs, retrieve them, all for them to be killed when the bishops tell her too do so. Idk seems pretty dog-like to me!
