one of my favorite things about campaign 4 is the un/intentional allegory of dol-makjar, a city of orcs who can see in the dark because of darkvision, getting overtaken by humans who "wield the light" and have absolutely no darkvision. and it got really hammered down in episode 31 when the sons of the dawn and the grey tower guard were surrounded by magpie orcs and the wind snuffed out all the lights.

with the lore drop that sylandri's death made all elves sterile, that they cannot reproduce without asking for their god's supplication, do you think hannan has his fucked up wooden ribs because after sylandri's death, their ability to fully heal was also taken away?

like, [spoiler] vaelus has a metal jaw (iirc this was mentioned by brennan in an adventuring academy episode with robbie). hannan has his wooden ribs. maybe vaelus is also interested in occtis because he might be able to find a way to heal elven wounds.
