She has gotten as close as she can, but she does not want to trigger the wards at this point. The Senate is rather busy, and as much as she has not joined them, she will not bother them as they prepare. Not when doing so will waste precious time she has to use to gather her siblings. With all that is coming, she would prefer to have Atarniel, Roth and Hayliel to be close by when shit does go on. Still, she had to stop by to see the witch one last time before it's his time to fight for his family. "I am rather curious about it, but I will refrain from asking out of respect."

It's an irritation, an itch she cannot scratch. Her worry for the kind little witch had manifested as the mortal bodies had begun to drop on the street and it grew with every day that passed without catching a sight of him. They had failed to exchange contacts at the cursed masquerade, so she could not even satisfy her curiosity by sending him a message and receiving an answer. Not that she had wanted to do as such for the first few weeks after the event had ended, too mortified by her sheer idiocy throughout their conversation. Not only had she made a mess of an interest she had thought to be fleeting, and almost ruined the opportunity to cultivate a source within Dahlia, but she had also given him her name. She had all but put a target on her head because she had found him charming of all things.

How pathetic of her.

And yet, despite how annoyed she had found herself at her actions, she cannot stop her feet from taking her towards the Dahlia house, on a day she knows Michael and Vivianne are on the city for other businesses. The fallen haunts the borders of the detection ward surrounding the house, not willing to be noticed by those attuned by the ward but hoping to catch a glimpse from Marco to reassure herself that he had not fallen prey to Dumah's work.
