I feel like Marcus’ life has to be so depressing to ‘allow’ Breana/Marcus to happen. Don’t you kinda feel like that? Like I know you are kinda joking by saying ‘daddy’ issues, but like Jesus. Marcus has to get completely disowned, end up with no family technically, has to watch his ‘dad’ BE said to Adam, Bree, and Chase, ultimately never get any of that resolved, and then ultimately dies, just to be with Breana in an ‘acceptable manner.’ Like their relationship is a tragedy for both of them ultimately, but particularly Marcus. (This is not a criticism in the slightest- angst is… well not fun, but engaging to write. It’s just a commentary)

Marcus doesn’t die in every universe. Like him losing his memories as soon as he gets them back. I may not have written all the universes but I have roleplayed several of them.

And I feel like I have to clarify everything and aggressively mention/overemphasize the daddy issues because I’ve had particularly nasty mean anons lately. Even though Douglas would still be like ‘you’re not genetically related’ even if he treated Marcus better plus they weren’t raised together.

Though the one universe Marcus dies them gets revived by the lazarus pit, which Douglas would be the one to be like ‘oh hey yeah I can do one thing and bring him back since it would be gross to make an android clone of him’.
