( idris elba, 49 / 600, marek fairchild, cis male, he/him + if special fae ) Underneath the sparkling sky, did you see IDRIS ELBA being tipped by the Cauldron? No, that's just MAREK FAIRCHILD, who is the HIGH LORD from SUMMER. I heard that on most days they're PERCEPTIVE and COURAGEOUS but if you catch them on a dark night, they can be a PERFECTIONIST and SKEPTIC. But if you really get to know them, you'll know that they vibe with DISCUSSIONS FUELED BY HOURS OF FACTS, FAMILY BUILT CLOSE TO KEEP THEM SAFE, A GROWING GARDEN ON THE ROOF ALL TO HIS OWN.
Marek, being the oldest of the Fairchild children has always intended to protect his siblings. They were the last ones of the court and it was important that they knew he'd do anything for them. He found himself very wary of the world around him, and thus, is a strong ruler, believing that everything needs to be perfect so none of them ever have to worry about anything. While their parents were loving, they often didn't prepare him for the future. He was born to be great but they didn't prepare him for anything. When the tragedy took place, being the oldest, he promised his siblings he'd be there for them. But whether or not he could succeed, Marek wasn't too sure.
But now, he's a strong and demanding ruler, intending to always make everything better and prove to them that they can survive through tragedy. He's skeptical of new members of court, or even other things, wanting to make sure nothing will ever hurt his family again. Marek asks for answers, demanding facts, and isn't a fan of anything that doesn't give him a right to feel safe.
Everything he does is full of facts, important discussions and a team that sticks together no matter what. But no one believes he has a semi soft bone in his body. The only things he does is for his siblings and for the very special garden on his roof. Marek has a thing for flowers, plants, and the beauty of the outside world. It was the one thing he could control all his life, before he became High Lord. And to this day, it's still the one and only thing he actually trusts.
