Father’s been on my case for the past two weeks, he’s become suspicious. He continues to bring her name up in conversations, gauging my reaction. Not to mention the fact that I’ve been given mediocre cases that an intern could complete. I have to tell her that there’s suspicion, that our visits will have to be bare minimum. I don’t know how to do it, how can I just tell her that? She’s going to punch me in the face, I just know it. I can’t even stand up to my father, work and family comes first, she’s got to understand that. I hope she does. If she doesn’t, then where does that leave us?
