I started to re create some of my characters’ stories and Albus is probably the one who evolved the most through the years ( despite Alizea is my main, Albus is the oldest I own ) .

His first version was a female named Blanc Soleil ( which is still is name in game... I’m poor you know ! ) then I changed the gender, the skin color, the face, hairstyle,colors and ended with a demonic daredevil.

His backstory right know is a bit complicated and not totally lore friendly I guess, I didn’t made proper researches to him as I found that Abaddon and his people were one of the most fascinating things in GW, along Seers and Forgottens.

Albus is, or was, Alizea’s best friend and a comrade from Vigil. Sadly during an attack in Elona, at the start of the campain against the god of war, he will be killed by an evil norn (( @cyborg-norn ‘s OC )) and only his spirit will remained linked to his two daggers that his best friend will carry with her (( little digression: if you are familiar with her personal story you probably know that she is a medium and can see & communicate with ghosts )). Years after those events - they were both on their 26 yo at this time -, she’s back in Hoelbrak (( again check her story if you want to know how and why )) but kinda lost contact with his spirit that she believed now in peace. 

And one night her husband noticed a strange figure standing in the garden and staring at the lodge. A figure that he didn’t believe to see again one day.

During those years his spirit wandered in several places, troubled by the events in the Mists, encounter various entities. Nobody nows how he met a margonite and how it ended to became a sort of risen human- demon. A bit like Varesh transformation but on a dead corpse, experiment of a margonite warlock.

Now he roams where he can, still having little memories of his human past and trying to find something. The problem, except his appearance, is that he didn’t exactly knows what he searches.

Can hiss, growl, speaking few krytan words but not having a full conversation and sometimes grumble gibberish.

Sometimes a family is made of about ten thousand adopted kids, siblings, multiple grandparents, demons, paladins, hellspawn and cinnamon rolls. And it’s still a lovely family. Scripp in the back, Neehil, Xerra, Qurikk, Sparr, Eleizem, Truu and Tristana in the front row, going left-to-right. These adorables are @augssanctuarys, @opaledrobins, @tyrian-vas‘ and mine.

Fanfic Edition #5

I think this will be the fifth and final fanfiction feature. Of course, if you'd like to see more from the GWO archive, you can find it here. It has mostly good quality writing, as opposed to say, fanfiction.net.

Anyway! Right then!

I was intially very resistant to reading this fanfiction. Because, you see...

A Margonite's Memoirs is about a girl who is half-human, half margonite. This might probably trip your Mary Sue alarm, and I suspect it's not too consistent with lore, either.

But the thing is, I found it incredibly entertaining. And despite her heritage, the main character is not annoying, nor exceptionally powerful. It all kind of works out in the end.

The writing style is rather simple, the fic can be really funny, and I can sense anime influences here and there. Because I swear to god, if the main character is not totally tsundere, then no one is. (Plus her catlike mannerism - licking her hands/chrrrrrrrrk Margonite purring noises certainly add to that.)

Like many of these old fanfics, Taurucis never finished his either, and is no longer active. Though, I still enjoyed the bit of the story that was posted.
