@octerminal tagged me forever ago to make my bioware OCs and their love interests with picrew. i just now saw the post but to be honest, i’ve always wanted an excuse to fool around in picrew. but some of the love interests are aliens or non-elf humans and I didn’t feel like figuring that out, so I just decided to make all of my OCs instead lmao:

Headcanons about my lavellan x blackwall :)

(this is my first time writing headcanons or anything like this so stay with me, thanks!!)

After a long day fighting she sits on his lap and cleans leaves and other odd occurrences out of his beard

They both snore very loudly while sleeping and sometimes wake each other up

Blackwall thinks about picking her up and carrying her often, just so he could prove he could

Them cuddling together in tents while camping, cause yes??

Sometimes she leaves small braids in his hair and beard, blackwall pretends not to notice

Lavellan trying to teach him how to use a bow and him fumbling with it and shooting an arrow the wrong way

Sometimes they sneak away to play in the lakes and waterfalls when camping in the Dales™️

They wander the woods together from time to time, just holding hands and enjoying the scenery. It sorta feels like home to both of them

Blackwall carving a halla out of wood as a gift to remind lav of home

Hay-fights in the barn at Skyhold, leading to them both having hay in their hair and being giggly messes

Blackwall sometimes stopping to tie or buckle her boots so she doesn't trip while traveling

Blackwall asking Solas how to say cute phrases like "I love you" in elvhen

Gwyn listened and internally cringed. He knew he’d been hurt, but enough to warrant surgery? It sent a shiver down his back imaging what would have become of him if he had made it home. He’d been planning to sleep it off! Honestly, he still wanted to. But when the man stated that there was to be a police report he scrunched his eyes closed and sighed heavily. 

“My name is Gwyn.” He mumbled, “Not that it isn’t nice to meet you and all, but I honesty feel like I just want to go home.”  He opened his eyes and flashed an almost pleading expression from his place on the bed. He didn’t even know why the guy was there, but The Iron Bull seemed to know more than he did at the moment. Maybe telling him what he wanted would get him out of here quicker.

But that was when another voice chimed in from the doorway.

“You’re staying here.” Said a stern voice, and he winced. Well. So much for that. 

He glanced over and tried smiling at his twin sister. She only flatly stared back. The moments ticked by and she raised an eyebrow at him. With a huff he broke his gaze and pulled the blankets back up to his nose before speaking again. “Mari, I want to go home.” 

“Gwyn, honestly.” She rolled her eyes and went to stand on the other side of the bed. “You’re staying here until you can at least sit up on your own, and then we’ll see about you getting out.” 

She then turned her gaze to the chair and nodded to the man there in a silent greeting. “You’re the one we have to thank for getting him here right? My name’s Mari.”
