FOOD:Tapas, paella,gazpatcho, pretty much anything Spanish, Mari will gladly cook for the members. She loves spicy food so had a hard time adjusting to Korean food at first but now will happily eat like a native Korean. Pretty much ANYTHING covered in soy sauce is a win to her. She doesn’t have a huge sweet tooth, so any cakes or sweet treat is safe around her.
DRINKS: Hot chocolate all the way. Doesn’t matter what time of the year it is.
HABITS: Tends to pick at her nails when nervous. It’s so bad Karine gifted her one of those nail polishes that smell really bad in order to stop her doing it.
HOBBIES:Dancing, also has a keen interest in design and drawing, as her father is an architect.
WHY DID SHE AUDITION FOR SM?: It was an impulse decision to attend the SM global audition in Paris, but she had always enjoyed dancing and a bit of singing. Auditioned under vocalist and dancer, but her dance skills impressed the scouts on the audition the most.

EDUCATION:.Spanish elementary and secondary school attended Hanalim and graduated from their Applied Music department.
FAMILY:,MOTHER: Sofia, much like Lily’s mother, is very proud of her daughter and often calls her daughter. (also jokes Prism’s sofia is her actual mother and now fans can’t unsee it whoops-)
FATHER:Youngjae, a bit of a workaholic, but tries to text his daughter whenever he can.
SIBLINGS: Marta and Miguel, born right after she became an SM trainee, spends a lot of time with them once she gets time to visit home.

HOW SHE FEELS ABOUT HERSELF: Has always been fairly confident, to the point of looking cocky, which is why she gets placed in the centre a lot in choreography.

-her nicknames are Mari(Prism) and Gingy(by Ten-her hair was dyed red for Prism’s debut and the name stuck)
-Will never admit it but was very worried to debut, but was relieved to see how well people received their debut.
-clicked with Ten as she shared a love of dance, and often loves to learn dance from him.
-Tends to swear in Spanish when in pain or when very frustrated.
-overly protective of Karine and Sofia despite the fact Sofia is older than her and acts like her mother (also called Sofia), and Karine because she’s the youngest of all the NCT members.
-Hana is easily her best friend in the group, and when they hang out with Ten and Kun, madness occurs!
-Her and Hana are the closest with the WayV members due to them hanging out with Ten and Kun constantly.
-once attempted to teach the girls and Ten salsa, and it ended badly mostly because Ten kept messing around with the younger members.
-turned down a spot at design school to join SM, helped to design the official Prism fanclub logo and lightstick.
-can be a little wild when she gets going(the nct hoe anthems were all designed for mija just saying)
