One of my favourite bits in The Commitments is when they casually edit together the back-up singers practising with three swinging pig carcasses!
The comedy in general is so refreshingly un-PC and silly.
dear tptb behind orphan black, i care about few things more than about good writing, about continuity and storyline. but i will not care one teeny tiny little bit if you come up with the lamest, most illogical, most boring arc/explanation ever if that's your way to get maria doyle kennedy to sing on the show. she can sing her way into my pants any day with her version of "i never loved a man". so, in summary: make it happen!!!! everyone else, google it!
