Marie is Tou’s baby sister. She’s never allowed to grow up, at least according to Toulouse, and he’ll kill anyone who comes near her. While they may have their occasional spats, such as when he wants to wear jeans to the masquerade ball or comes home covered in someone else’s blood, or when she jokes about bringing people home to her bed or yet another one of her exes is revealed, Toulouse loves his little sister and wants to protect her from everything in this world even if there’s a chance she isn’t biologically his sister.

Marie is the Chat Landon has the most time for, she’s the only one that doesn’t completely drive him to the brink of insanity or make him want to punch something. Even though he was unable to tolerate her when they were younger he was drawn to her and got to know her a bit better, like her, if you will. And even though time has passed and they don’t really interact anymore -- and he still fucking despises Toulouse and Berlioz he has a very small soft spot for Marie and would protect her much like he would protect Sadie or Beau if she needed it.

Marie is one of Sadie’s closest friends and one of very few people that she genuinely cares about. If there’s anything Sadie loves wholeheartedly, it’s complaining, and Marie not only allows her to complain but enables her to, which is what initially attracted her to the blonde and keeps her by her side. A lot of people look at the two on the surface and wonder how they could ever be friends, but if you were to look closer, you’d realize that the two were very obviously meant to be close. They have more in common than you’d think.

He really isn’t sure about him. He’s oblivious to the fact that she’s protective of Ber and doesn’t get why the ‘daddy’ thing bothers her. But he finds her nice enough that if he had to be around her, he’d probably be okay with it. He also hasn’t interacted with her very much so he’s still stand-offish to her.
