"..but what I know is that I want to be in this beautiful, mess of a changing world with you. Please, please, bambina, marry me!" ❤️💫
This project is mainly inspired by #ProjectNoControl, conducted by the fans of One Direction, which aimed to turn the band's song "No Control" into a single and promote it on social media as if it were an official single. This is important because a single gets most of the exposure especially in radio stations. Because of the unified participation of their fanbase, this was a successful project.
#ProjectKarma has the same objectives: to promote and turn "Karma" into a single and to have it played by radio stations all over the world by mass-requesting "Karma" as a fandom. With all the streaming, promoting, and requesting, this would all then translate to a form of demand, which could attract music promoters to invite MARINA to perform to countries she hasn't toured in, like Australia and other European countries, as explained by Jess Keeley, MARINA’s manager. If this event is a success, then the outcome would be: MORE tour dates, INCREASED awareness of Marina and her new album, and INCREASED radio play of MARINA worldwide. When these happen, it could have a domino-effect and could improve her charts performance.
With all the toxicity surrounding this new era especially on stan Twitter that led to MARINA handing her Twitter account over to her team, making this project a success could also be our way of apologizing to MARINA.
Project No Control was only successful because of the unity and dedication of 1D fans worldwide, so the participation of ALL diamonds is what we need to make this a success.

#PROJECTKARMA STREAMING PARTY
Together, we shall all be streaming Karma at the same time around the world to conclude this campaign on June 29th for the western diamonds and on the 30th for the eastern diamonds.
Here are the links for easy access:
iTunes
Apple Music
Youtube – Don’t loop the video/play it on repeat to precent Youtube from deleted our views, filing them as spam, or mistaking us for bots. Instead, refresh the page and play the video every 10 minutes. Tip: 10 minutes is approx. equal = 3 Karma streams + another song on Spotify.
Spotify – This one’s already in a playlist so you may skip the third Spotify guideline. Note that streams aren’t counted after playing one song a third time in a row hence I’ve inserted every track from Love + Fear in here so we’ll be streaming Marina’s latest album at the same time as well!
Make sure to read the guidelines and your country’s assigned date & time! Reblog to spread the word.
#ProjectKarma
#ProjectKarma is a global DIY single release campaign for ‘Karma’, a track from MARINA’s latest album ‘LOVE + FEAR’. This project is a celebration of Marina’s growth as an artist and most especially, as a person. This is a present to her from us, her diamonds.
‘Karma’ was chosen because it is something the general public would enjoy listening to, especially on the radio. If they enjoyed the song, then they will surely look it up on Google or Shazam it, which would lead to purchasing/streaming ‘Karma’ or ‘LOVE + FEAR’.
We are currently inviting Marina update and news blogs to collaborate with us! Those who are interested will be given guidelines and official graphics to be posted and reblogged by Marina blogs. However, posting is not limited to Tumblr. Please send us a message or an ask before June 5th to be included in the official poster. You may also contact us on Twitter or Facebook.
This project is supported by Marina update accounts from around the world on Twitter, Facebook and next, Tumblr, which will be made possible by you. The campaign will take place on June 20th through June 29th. More details will be posted soon.
