It’s insane how Chris Pratt’s mario voice is so lazy and weird, like why even accept the role when you can’t even try to sound like Mario? Meanwhile Jack Black’s voice is absolutely perfect, genuinely a phenomenal villain voice and doesn’t even sound like it’s Jack voicing it. AND HAVING THEM IN THE SAME MOVIE TOGETHER

how we can improve the Mario movie

When the Italian dub of the movie releases, we download the movie and cut out all of English-Marios lines and replace them with Mario's lines from the Italian dub. All other character still speak english. Then we spread (clips of) this version around and gaslight everyone into thinking it's the real version.

I just realized what crisp rat's Mario voice reminded me of. He has the same energy as Owen Wilson in one particular scene in Cars; Lightning McQueen is forced to make a personal appearance at his sponsor's tent full of rusty cars, and he viscerally doesn't want to be there so he phones it in, clearly reading from a prompter just to get it over with.

"Remember folks, with a little bit of [SPONSOR'S NAME HERE], You too can look like Me. Next slide. Kachow™ [WINK AT CROWD]. Where's my trailer?"

"Mushroom kingdom, here. we. come."

The exact same dull intonation, but Owen Wilson did it on purpose because the scene required his character to sound bored, and crisp rat just didn't care.

A little tik tok came across my fyp about that bowser and luigi scene in the new trailer, and suddenly I’ve fallen down a rabbit hole I cannot climb out of. I have become an unironic Bowuigi shipper and I am unashamed of it.
