I’ve finally beaten...
...both Super Mario Bros 1 and 3! :D I’ll need to go back to SMB1 and try Second Quest, but I’ll do it another time.
Will admit, I used A+B+Start to re-try the world I lost all lives on, but I didn’t use save states (so if I die on W7-3, I’ll re-try it from 7-1 all way to 7-4). W8 was different however no thanks to Hammer Bros (I genuinely hate them) so I went with “save at start of each W8 level”, and after a while I managed to do it! SMB3 I don’t... really enjoy much as SMB1, I still like it of course but it annoys me more. So I just tend to save state at each start of level but then W8 came along... holy fuck. I just abused save states to be able to progress on SMB3.
So I don’t feel super happy with SMB3 being beaten (I still am, just not much as SMB1) but oh well, I’m glad it’s over and done with.
I’ve also managed to beat, and completed NSMB Wii over the weekend (100%ed!)
Special thanks to Super Mario Maker for giving me movition to try 2D Mario games again <3 Need to try beat NSMB on DS as well go back to NSMB U to 100% that.
