Mario Dragonson, the S Class (as of the end of S5) Cavern Dragon Slayer of Divinus Magia.
Haven’t changed much in his design but there’s some minor differences.
There’s also a base skin design that I cropped out because I’m not sure if tumblr will nuke me for it, so it’s below the cut along with close ups, yapping about designs and also a little bit about his backstory in my rewrite!
His normal outfit is not much different to his canon s5 look. I gave him metal toed boots because of the practical reasons of him not dropping boulders on his feet, and also because he’d like the option to be able to kick the shit out of people. His shirt has a lower cut because everyone in Divinus has to show a little bit of titty. He wears fingerless gloves because I gave him claws which would just rip the gloves, but also I think parts of his magic should require him to be physically touching the ground, so this allows him to just drop and dig his fingers in. His coat is fireproof (he got it after s4 because of training with Kit and Bryan).
His relaxed outfit is the same as his normal one, just without the jacket or gloves to give him a little more comfort. He’d probably dress like this when on the island between contracts, if the weather’s good or he’s over at someone’s house. He doesn’t own many other clothes than these and he definitely only owns the boots as shoes, so they get dirty quickly. Contrary to what the guild says, he does wash regularly, he just doesn’t wash his clothes.
I chose to have him keep his hair longer because he had a pretty big crashout before he left his old guild and hacked all his hair off during it, so he grows it to distance himself from those days. He lets Kit occasionally trim the fringe. It’s not seen but he’s very tall, around 6’5 ish, but he’s never measured himself properly. On his base, I concentrated scars on his forearms and upper body, because he’s a very static fighter who tanks attacks rather than attempting to dodge them. Before learning more defensive magic styles like his Dragon Scale Armour, he used his forearms to block blades a lot. I attempted to give him a sort of weightlifter build with muscle and fat rather than toned muscle, again with a focus on the muscle in his upper body because he fights with his fists. I didn’t draw it here, but I got rid of his lance thingy, and instead he fights with knuckledusters, because it makes so much more sense to me for him to punch as his melee attack because of how much he punches rocks for his magic.
The big scar down the centre of his chest is due to his old guild leader doing some pretty evil shit to him. There is permanent bruising around it and he suffers from chronic pain.
Backstory of the scar! (brief mention of body modification)
After being taken off the streets and joining Reaper’s Hand (my preferred name for his old dark guild) at about age 13, Mario was raised like a son by the guild leader. The guild leader was a Death magic user who called himself ‘the Priest’, and had a fascination with artificial life through necromancy.
The Priest used Mario as an experiment. To see if he could create permanent artificial life, he removed Mario’s heart from his chest and replaced it with a pig’s heart with necrotic runes carved into it. The pig’s heart functioned as a normal human heart but was only kept beating by the Priest’s magic feeding into it. Mario became technically dead, but still living, and a success in the Priest’s experiment. However, soon after, he was captured by Bri and sent to Atlantide prison, and joined Divinus before the Priest could reclaim him.
Mario doesn’t know if the heart will stop beating if his old guild leader dies, so he has an obsession with trying to find him and put him in prison so he can find a permanent way of keeping it alive. The Priest is also obsessed with Mario, because he is, by all criteria, supposed to be dead, and yet he can use magic (which dead people cannot do) and has also grown and aged. It means immortality could be possible to achieve.
Anyway I think he should be a little weird about the fact that he has the heart of a livestock animal. Pigs are animals bred for slaughter and I think he should wonder if that’s what he’s been created for too.
(using a pigs heart as a replacement for a human heart is actually a real, fairly recent thing that has been attempted! it’s called xenotransplantation and I believe there are a few successful cases of it working (not just with hearts, but with other pig organs too))

-(Scp) Bryan walks with a slight hitch to his step as a result of the lizard biting his leg as the pulling on it pulled both the hip and knee joint slightly out of place and it just never healed properly dispite it being reset and the leg patched up(patches(the patchwork bear) deals with flesh injury he cannot fix terminal illness or injury’s to the brain see his official file on the Scp sight or watch a YouTube video that reads the actual file(someone like the volgun) it’s not enough to hinder him but it is noticeable on worse days. or when he hasn’t taken meds for the pain…
-doc being from the red pool, the pool can create biological humans as it happens in its file, this primarily being due to the fact Bryan knows where the red pool is in the facility(he shouldn’t implying long ties to the foundation) and directly alarms the others to soon to be spawned instances of the pool with the others have no reactions to(it can be implied they glance to the pool or are too locked in but shhh this is more fun)
-FTO Bryan enjoys doing paperwork especially taxes, its no issue getting him to do homework work paperwork or serveys, but he especially likes tax paperwork partly because numbers are funny but he’s also occasionally allowed to go bully people for not paying someone back dispite being able to. The only thing he likes more is running around outside.
-FTO Bryan is scared of accidentally hurting small animals or children due to his hight(specifically the 7,2ft behemoth I dipect him as) as he greanly isn’t looking at his feet and they really like being as close as possible. He freaks out when maina goes into her mini cat form and litterly lets himself be backed up on to a small piller and only relaxes when he’s returns to normal.
-OoO Bryan has anger issues he does get reasonably angry with nad(obligatory screw the creator) when inpu tells him he ate the first wedding cake and seems less then five second from snapping his neck, which again reasonable but bro please don’t. And all that and a lot of negativity was generated quite easily within at least a year having a host with anger issues matching with a corrupted sword that feeds off that would be a match made in Tartarus.
-FNAF Bryan likes fruit soda but also apprates drinks like strong scotch or burban but limits those to a single glass at least once a month at most, he basically refuses to get any further than tippsy unless he’s with the most trusted people in his life. And someone who can carry him. Part of it’s due to him fearing what he’d do when black out drunk(he’d probably mostly have a nice long cry over everything) thanks to a faded memory’s of Markus at his worse and because you know hang overs, bros got DID he already gets bad headaches without the alcohol.
-the process that removed FNAF Bryan’s memory’s of his dad did a lot more then remove him it more or less ripped up all of Bryan’s foundational memories and very few were left fully intact, if it was even slightly Mathew related even if it was Bryan saying dad or Anna saying Matthew’s name it was gone. The whole having your foundational memories just ripped out also screwed up the part of the brain responsible for processing and storing memories so Bryan both has memory issues as a result of having DID but also has slight memory issues on top of that. Fish writes a lot of sticky notes to help remind him.
-FTO Bryan has very much pranked the other guilds mostly a lot of plastic waterbuckets that are tripped by the door(set up so it dosent fall) and smacking yourself in the face after he put wipped cream your hand and tickled your face while your asleep. He sticks to completely harmless pranks as uses them to help train people. He was once accused of setting up a “prank” that hurt boat and he was so insulted he swaped every book on the island out with ones in the fae written language(the one who actually did was was found later to be a disgruntled shop keeper who boat got reasonably snappy with)
-FTO4-5 are that worlds equivalent to our days mondern day, Remember! If you’re dealing with other worlds esspeally with magic they aren’t going to develop the same way our world has. The internet sticks much closer to its roots(communication) than our world and is a lot less used thanks to magic they still got memes they still got YouTube and unfortunately twitter (they got silksong at least) but techs more of an oh cool a phone! And less of a where’s your phone?

But here is my design of Mario from the mcrp Fairy Tail Origins. His design is based off of a pirate, because that is something I've heard said in the series about him looking like a pirate. Also I added the second image so you can better see how I drew his face, since it's hard to see in the pose I chose.
