☯ (Closed) Black and White and Red All Over
She was still in her own mind, that much was obvious. And so long as she had to play Host, anyone could just walk in here. Reimu wasn't sure if this would be any easier to explain to a friend than to a stranger.
It was a memory, again. An old one though, from before she had so many friends. Even if her shrine saw mostly freeloading youkai visitors, there were more footsteps nowadays than ever before.
The memory playing out before her in silent black and white saw her younger self silently sweeping the steps of the Hakurei Shrine. That expression was something Reimu hadn't worn in a long time. She clenched her fists and turned away. Maybe the memory would change again soon.
Then--there! In the woods just outside the shrine, Reimu saw a familiar flash of gold. Someone was watching her and she knew just who it was.
She nearly asked Where have you been? but settled for something else instead.
"Of course you'd decide to come pay me a visit at the most inconvenient time possible," Reimu sighed. Hands clasped behind her back, she smiled just a bit.
