In 1975, SAIL was first organized to celebrate the 700th anniversary of our capital. In 2025, we will celebrate again: 750 years of Amsterdam and 50 years of SAIL. But that's not all! In 2020, SAIL could not take place due to the pandemic, so the jubilee, 10th edition was postponed to 2025. So a triple celebration! And we will celebrate it in a special way! In the year in which our capital celebrates its 750th anniversary, SAIL is an opportunity to welcome people from all over the world! An event on the water and on the waterfront, organized by and for "Nederland Waterland" with inspiring wave makers!
