this kind if situation with Marius? Idk I think its quite funny to be this kind of “office romance” and the other boys and Rosa just watching it with a straight face in the background (If you don’t mind making Rosa as ger own character ofc. I see her as her own character and totally ship her with Luke)
— office wagers
character: marius von hagen
synopsis: rosa watches you and marius pine for one another like idiots, and makes the executive decision that the back and forth has simply gone on long enough.
a/n: haha heyyyy
rosa slides a crisp bank note on the nxx bar table, a sharp glint in her eye that you'd only get after seeing the darkest pits of stellis alleys. across her, luke smirks, mirroring her movements – only with double the cash.
"10,000 stellin mc confesses," quips rosa.
"20,000 on marius," luke shoots back.
artem shakes his head in amused indifference, "it's rude to bet on others' suffering." vyn laughs at that, "I wouldn't call it suffering. the way i see it, they seem to enjoy their pointless pining."
on the other end of the complex, you and marius are busy chasing each other around columns and file cabinets. marius waves around a horrific picture of you, sleeping with your mouth agape and your nose scrunched up in ways you don't think any anti-wrinkle specialist has ever seen before.
"marius! i will kill you!"
"i'm making this my phone wallpaper! in fact, i might just get it printed on real wallpaper!"
you huff indignantly, realizing you'd never be able to catch up to him. especially, not with his long strides and agile swerving. so in your rage-addled mind, it stands to reason that the next best course of action is to jump the man. and so that's what you do. you lunge at him like a cat to an unclothed ankle, and send both him and yourself toppling over.
in a show of pure athleticism, marius manages to catch you in his arms (which you suppose was an unintended outcome, but was nonetheless welcome). still, the most he can do is cushion your fall on his chest and his: ungracefully, on the cold, hard ground.
you quickly swipe his phone and delete it, but the annoyed protest from marius never comes. instead, his ears are tinged a slight pink as he softly helps you to a sitting position on the ground between his legs.
instead of right on his lap.
you turn to him with a proud smile on your face, waving his phone around. to which, he responds with whines about how he's injured and in pain.
rosa and luke share an incredulous glance as hypothetical pink flowers and glitter fills the air of the nxx headquarters. the two watch as your hands run over marius' non-existent bruising where marius says the fall got him. they then proceed to watch you coo over the evidently pleased man, as you apologize with nothing short of sweet whispers and gentle coaxing.
if rosa was completely honest, it was kind of disgusting to look at. alas, she was but a poor soul subject to the most visceral form of visual torture: two idiots who had no idea what to do with their feelings.
so later on that evening, when it's just you and her left, she moves to make her money's worth. "soooo...marius, huh?"
"hm? what's up?" and to your credit, you actually look confused. rosa has no idea if you're genuinely that thick-skulled, or if you need to be assigned to more undercover missions.
"you like him. he likes you. that's what's up."
"pshhhh, no! no way, we're just friends!"
"you two are more clingy, more sickly sweet, more unsubtle with your flirting than most married couples i've met."
"that's not true! but...you actually think he likes me?"
rosa cocks a brow and laughs. she shrugs and saunters out, despite your protests. 10,000 stellin be damned, it would be funnier to let you two numbskulls figure it out.
the next afternoon, she walks in to your drooling face on marius' shoulder. he's busy reading documents, but keeps his left arm uncomfortable propped up for the betterment of your beauty sleep. your makeup is rubbing off on his sweater, leaving slight blurs of color in the deep navy. rosa figures marius is willing to make the trade off anyways, seeing as he spends more time looking down at your unkempt, unconscious face than he does actually perusing the far more important (subjective: marius would disagree) documents in his right hand.
"woooow, cuddling. romantic," rosa comments, her back turned to marius.
"nah, i'm just a great friend, and she's just very tired is all," marius responds. rosa is grateful her face isn't visible to marius, because she cannot help the eye roll that elicits from her. she places her bag down and walks over to where you two are strewn on the couch.
"you like her. i know it."
"what?! n-no!"
rosa sends him a sharp look, "you two are so revolting all the time, and i'm sick of it. if i have to suffer through any more heart eyes between the two of you, you two had better start dating soon."
"I do not make heart eyes at her! does she really look at me with heart eyes?"
"all im saying is...if not now, then when?"
luke walks in at that moment. rosa sighs before helping him with the boxes he's carrying, "you are never seeing that 20,000 stellin again, pearce."
"i figured."
marius, unable to move from where you're lain on him, calls out "what are you guys talking about? is there a bet?! are you betting on me?!"
"figure out your feelings first, von hagen!"
eventually, you stir from your sleep, and wake up to marius, donning an expression you've never seen before. "what's wrong with you?"
"nothing," he can't bring himself to look at you. he's terrified he'll see what he's been avoiding for so long: the person he's stupidly in love with. you poke his cheek, having known him for far too long to let his shift in demeanor pass you by.
you memorize that face, those features – down to the softest curl of his lips when he knows he's bested you again, and the slight droop in his eyes when he's scared he's gone too far with his teasing. you know his body language better than you know your own. so when he croons his neck away from your face, and his eyes shift around the room nervously, you know something must have happened in the hour between falling asleep on him and the present.
"don't lie!"
"i'm not!"
"marius!"
"i'm serious, nothing is wrong!" but you don't believe it. you press your face closer to his, much to his detriment, and unexpected delight. your brows are furrowed in suspicion, and his fingers almost instinctively want to reach out and massage the crease away from your face. your hair bristles past his cheek and he audibly gulps. he's never felt this stupid and unarmed, such that he finds himself quite reminiscent of a teenage boy having to talk to a girl his age for the first time ever.
"marius, i'm just worried is all," you press a hand to his forehead to check for a fever, and somehow inch even closer. he's sure all the blood rushing into his cheeks and his face must make him warm to the touch. "please tell me?"
your eyes are soft and pleading, and he's never learned to say no to that face. instead, he settles for grabbing you by the shoulders, just firmly enough to position you away from him. he pretends not to notice the slight hurt that accompanies the startle in your eyes. "you should go."
you're lost, having never seen your best friend like this, and so suddenly, to top it off. an hour ago, you were sound asleep on his chest and he was fine with it; the smear of foundation on his left sleeve can attest to that!
"did I do something? what's wrong with me being near you all of a sudden?"
he internally kicks himself for finding your worried expression so endearing. then he does an internal uppercut on himself for relishing in your avid concern for him.
"marius?"
he lets out a sigh of frustration before pressing a chaste kiss to your lips, his face in a new shade of red beyond anything seen before. "that's what's wrong."
"oh."
rosa sighs from across the hall, fishing her wallet out of her pocket for 10,000 stellin.
“Sorry did I wake you?” his voice reaches you as he settles himself inside the covers.
You shake your head against the pillow “I heard the front door open. Light sleeper.” Your mouth tilts up in a smile.
His eyes soften. Still, feeling bad about waking you with his late night arrivals.
Putting a hand on your cheek he caresses your skin while looking over your face. Making your heart squeeze with affection at how tenderly he holds you in his gaze.
the moonlight lands on him when he moves closer to you. Seeing the exhaustion on his handsome features. But even though the want of sleep is there you know it’ll take him an hour or so to be coaxed into sleep.
“Go back to sleep, hm?” He whispers Kissing your forehead.
You tilt your head up “join me?”
He lets out a breath closing his tired eyes and opening them again focusing back on you. “I will soon” thumb traces your jaw and chin. “When my brain calms down”
You lean up and kiss his mouth softly. As always he hums against your lips. Always welcoming you in.
“I’m…not sure if that’ll help calm it, baby” he says amused.
You simply cup his cheek and give him another gentle kiss. “Think of only me right now”
His eyes follow you when you lean back and raise yourself on one arm the other hand on his chest.
“Trust me. I am” he understands what you’re doing. And his heart fills with warmth welcoming the distraction especially if you’re it.
You look him over and see the delicate patches of moonlight on him. Letting the soft light be your guide.
Kissing his cheek. Pressing your lips on the white light on his collarbone, bicep and hand. Following it Anywhere it moves as he shifts under your attention. His hand touching your arms and shoulder. Both of you basking in this moment meant just for you two.
There is nothing else you want more than to display your love for the man before you. There is no other place you’d rather be than with The man who gives you the ability to touch moonlight.
AN: ummm... another one I guess? this time reader's pov!
first part here!!!
Ravenclaw! Marius Von Hagen x Slytherin! Reader: fluff, difference of socioeconomics. bullying from Slytherin, muggle born reader. This is more on reader's POV... but I'm going to possibly write more.
You were just a normal muggle or that was what you first thought when you had reached the age of seven.
It was your birthday when your magic manifested. At first you had thought it was a surprise your parents had when the candles in your cake had started hovering after blowing the flames.
You blinked at them before turning to them with a smile.
"Look, they're floating. Like magic!" you giggled.
But neither of them smiled, instead they seemed horrified.
And ever since then, the most peculiar things have been happening around you.
Every time you get emotional, things move around.
Lights flickered whenever you are getting anxious.
And sometimes, when you reached for something they sometimes zipped towards your hands.
You didn't know what to make sense of this... powers or magic. Your parents definitely didn't.
But your questions were answered when an owl crashed into your bedroom window one morning when you were eleven, giving her a letter.
"Hogwarts, school of witchcraft and wizardry?" you muttered, looking at its insignia. "Is this a prank...?"
Upon further inspection or well, following the instructions in the letter. You found out that yes, Diagon Alley exists, witches and wizards exist. And yes, magic exists.
Your parents wouldn't believe it, that was until they saw Hogwarts express and that when they knew it, that you made up your mind.
You're going to Hogwarts and they supported you. Bidding you goodbye and before letting you go to explore.
You didn't know that much about Hogwarts than the other students when you boarded the train. Some of them already knew each other, talking excitedly about the upcoming classes and professor as you moved your way to look for an empty compartment. A few were even already attempting to use their wand to cast a spell.
Most of the compartments are already crowded until you see one with only two people inside.
A girl with brown hair and green eyes, talking with another person. A boy this time with blonde hair and hazel colored eyes. Both of them already looked close, is it really a good thing to interrupt them?
A bit hesitant, you knocked before opening the door slightly. "Um, hello. The other compartments are already crowded. Would it be alright if...?" you asked, letting the question hover.
"Rosa," the girl asked, smiling at her and holding out a hand. "Nice to meet you."
"Luke Pierce," the boy next to him answered.
You each took both of their hands, shaking them as you took note of them. Both of them seemed to have already known each other, in fact they seemed too familiar with each other. A possible friendship that had formed during their time in Diagon Alley? Or perhaps they already knew before they got the letter on Hogwarts?
Too shy to ask the questions in your thoughts, you just smiled at them. It would be nice to meet someone before, you couldn't help but think.
Am I just an outsider?
You know there are two types of people that get to be in Hogwarts. Those who are pure-blood, also known as people who had been part of the wizarding family. And the muggle born, you, who didn't have any connection with a wizard or a witch and somehow had a potential to wield magic. But... not all muggles all welcomed to the wizarding world...
"What house do you want to be?" Luke suddenly asked, snapping you out of your thoughts.
"Huh?" You asked, confused. "House?"
Luke nodded, "yea, we get sorted in different houses in Hogwarts," for a moment he looked puzzled. "Wait, why didn't you know?"
"Um... well," you hesitated, not sure what their reaction would be if you said that you were a muggle.
Rosa nudged Luke slightly on the ribs which gave her a confused look. There was a moment of silence between them before a look of understanding dawned at his face.
"Oh, I'm sorry," Luke muttered, sheepishly.
"It's alright, I didn't want anyone else to know," you answered. "Since well..."
Rosa nodded. "It's fine. Not all purebloods hate muggles, some of us also love them, especially those who have become well known in the wizard world."
"And if someone tries to call you weird names, I'll protect you!" Luke added. "I'll blast them off!"
For a moment, you were stunned. This wasn't the reaction that you were expecting for them, not rejection or getting kicked out in the compartment you shared with me.
Had I thought wrong about them?
Maybe not all of them are the same. And that was the start of a blooming friendship.

The great hall was the first impressive thing that you have seen in Hogwarts. With the floating candles that hovers around, the ceiling that mirrors the starry skies outside and the tables where the old students are settled down.
Professor McGonagall made all the new students lined up, each student who walked in front where the Sorting Hat was waiting for them.
She had learned about the different houses from Rosa and Luke.
Gryffindor, known for their courage, bravery and chivalry with the symbol of the lion. It was where Dumbledore had come from and some other well known legends.
Ravenclaw, who are known for their intelligence and curiosity. With the symbol of the eagle where you heard that you need to answer a riddle to get inside their common room. Are they that hard? You wondered.
Hufflepuff who valued hard work, patience and loyalty, the symbol of a badger. It seemed like the most comfortable house if someone had asked you. Maybe being a Hufflepuff wouldn't be bad?
Lastly, Slytherin... Known for their ambition, cunningness and resourcefulness, founded by Salazar Slytherin and for their sign of a serpent. However, the reputation they hold... it wasn't that bad but most of them are pure-blood people...
No, they wouldn't put a muggle in that house... right?
Oh, how fate proved you wrong.
When your name was called and took the stool for the Sorting Hat. It was strange while the sorting talked to you.
The brim of the Sorting Hat dipped over your eyes, plunging you into warm, dusty darkness. It smelled faintly of old books, attic wood, and… was that treacle tart?
“Hmm…” a voice drawled in your ear, ancient and amused. “Plenty of curiosity, yes… and loyalty runs deeper than you think. Courage—you’d surprise yourself. But what’s this… ah. Ambition, sharp as a blade. And a mind that refuses to be underestimated.”
Your breath caught.
“You’re a muggle-born, aren’t you?” the hat murmured, not accusing—more like it was noting a particularly interesting ingredient in a recipe. “Well, that won’t stop me. You’ve got a hunger to prove yourself… no fear of stepping into a world that wasn’t made for you. Oh, yes… you’d do quite well…”
"Slytherin!"
The students clapped around, you can see Rosa cheering for you while Luke raised his fist in congratulation.
You stood up stiffly from the stool before making your way to the Slytherin table. A few of them greeted you, some are also still clapping but the others? You sensed their suspicion on you, they're narrowed eyes searching for any hint of recognition of who they are.
None. You knew nothing of them.
˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ⊹ ࣪ ˖
It wasn't that long before the rest of the Slytherin figured out who you are.
At first, they treated you like one of them until slowly. Other Slytherin had started finding excuses to turn you away, avoiding you until none of them had talked to you for the past few days. It was inevitable, you knew of that.
They knew you were a mudblood.
But they haven’t done anything… yet.
Maybe they have a change of heart. Maybe all the rumors about them hating on mudbloods wasn’t that true at all. Like… sure, they might find it weird that in a room of people who had lived their whole life knowing as a witch or wizard there is one person who wasn’t born in a wizarding family.
But surely they’ll get used to it and everything will go back to normal… right?
Oh… if only poor naive you knew what’s going to happen.
Because unlike the way they avoided you slowly… the bullying started quickly.

The Great Hall was full of students from different houses and years that morning. Older years were showing off their skills to the first years, waving their wands with fluid movement like they were born to use a wand. Meanwhile, the rest of the students around them were chatting off and eating their breakfast.
“Where are they…?” you muttered under your breath as you looked around.
When you woke up, almost all of the Slytherin students had already left for breakfast. It was strange, since for the past few days you have learned that your roommates were late risers.
That should have been your first clue.
But you brushed the thought away and went out to look for them. It wasn’t that hard to see a group of Slytherin with the color of their robe, they were in one of the tables at the farther sides of the Great Hall. As you walked towards them, you noticed that they seemed to be leaning against each other and whispering furiously.
Curious, you quickened your pace to not be left out.
“Good morning,” you greeted them with a small smile. “What are you talking about?”
Silence.
All the Slytherin stopped their talking and looked at her. The way they looked at you… it’s a look that you remember seeing when you first had arrived at Diagon Alley, accidentally bumping into an old elderly woman who looked at you in disgust the moment she realized what you are.
“Just wondering about something,” the nearest one answered you with a smile.
Ava Kendrick, you remember her. She was known to be in one of the most financial houses in the wizarding world, of wizards whose job was to collect debts or hunt them down if they tried to escape.
“About what?” you asked, looking at them.
“About mudbloods and how annoying they can be,” Ava let out a cruel laugh. “How they act like they deserve to be in this school, parampling around and swishing their little wand… it’s a bit annoying don’t you agree?”
A pause before she let out another chuckle.
“Oh right… you wouldn’t agree because you're one of them,” she hissed.
“Punish the traitor!” Jerry Jones shouted.
“Punish the mudblood!” another one shouted.
“Get her out of this table!” Ava added.
“Throw her food!” added another one.
Tears welled up your eyes as you backed away, watching the way your Slytherin housemates raised their wands. Food started hovering before it started to throw themselves to you, ruining your new robes as they continued to pelt you with breakfast.
“S-stop,” you cried out, trying to shield yourself with your hands.
But the Slytherin only laughed harder at your statements and continued chanting until it was the only thing that you heard, surrounding you and blurring your vision from the shame.
Is this the right choice?
Am I supposed to be here?
You didn’t even notice the touch on your shoulder or how Luke and Rosa steered you away from the crowd because the echoes of their taunts, the uselessness you feel when they compared you to them was enough to make you understand.
You don’t belong here.
This was a mistake.
You weren’t supposed to be in this place.
You were just a muggle.
But would that stop you?
No, you thought to yourself as Rosa wiped the tears on your cheeks while Luke pointed fingers to the Slytherin who were still jeering at you as Professor McGonagall walked towards them, a scowl lingering on her face like she was preparing to put them to detention.
“It’s alright, just don’t listen to them,” Rosa said to you. “You wouldn’t be here in the first place if you weren’t supposed to be here.”
“How would you know? I’m just… an outsider in another world,” you shook your head.
Rosa smiled at you a little. “That makes you more special, it takes a lot of courage to learn something you weren’t used to.”
Luke peeked over her shoulder. “Exactly! I mean, that’s like telling us to learn about muggles.”
As much as you wanted to disagree, you knew that they were just doing their best to cheer you up and assure you but it wasn’t that easy.
For the past few days, you felt like an outsider in your own house. The Slytherin avoided you, they pulled pranks on you and every time you came back to your dorm, some of your stuff was all over the place and the others were missing.
You expected to feel shame, shame for being here but it didn’t appear.
Raging fury settled deep in your gut.
You knew that they were doing this to get you out of this school.
But you decided.
They wanted to make you a problem?
Fine, you’ll be a problem, they’ll just have to get used to a muggle in Slytherin.
˖.𖥔 ݁ ˖ ⊹ ࣪ ˖
For the rest of the day… it was chaotic, that was something you can explain.
You mostly stay away from Slytherin as much as possible but if ever they have tried to pull a prank on you. Let’s just say that you’re both getting into detention, sometimes with Rosa and Luke and sometimes all by yourself.
Artem Wing would always try to stop you from doing anything reckless, as much as you love making him stress over the things that you do. You appreciate his worry but you can’t just stand there and watch as your house mates pull pranks on you, you need to strike back.
That’s why sometimes it’s better to talk to Vyn — another Slytherin whom you found out doesn’t really care about the muggle stuff — who encourages you to do something reckless.
A bad influence.
It’s also the reason why some of the students avoid you or ignore you. A few would say that you were just like the rest of Slytherin but… you were a Slytherin. It’s part of you even if they don’t welcome you with open arms.
It was your life here in Hogwarts.
Chaotic, peaceful, and it’s a part of you.
But you never expected it'd get more chaotic after that accidental meeting with Marius von Hagen.
“You did what?” Luke said, his eyes wide as the three of you were eating breakfast in the great hall. “You bumped into Marius von Hagen?"
“Yes, what’s with the reaction?” you asked.
“He’s like the prodigal son of the Von Hagen lineage,” Luke said. “His family owns a lot in the wizarding world. I mean, he could even rival half of the Slytherin if you think about it—”
“You’re overreacting Luke,” Rosa interrupted. “But I’ll agree, he does own a lot.”
“I never heard of him,” you said plainly. “Should I be?”
“No,” Rosa answered. “The von Hagen may own a lot but they don’t really flaunt their wealth.”
“That’s why they aren’t a part of Slytherin,” Luke also pointed out.
“Okay…”
You remember him, well slightly. You were in a rush to get to the train but you do remember him. Purple hair, purple eyes… that look of surprise on his face when you passed by. He seemed like… a normal person not what you expected but you’ll have to admit…
He is goodlooking.
“Oh no.”
You snapped out of your thoughts. Both Rosa and Luke were staring at you with the same expression on their faces.
“Don’t tell me you like him,” Luke said with a horrified look.
“Oh please,” you rolled your eyes and stood up, grabbing your book. “I better head to Potion, can’t have Snape seeing me late again after I exploded Kendrick’s cauldron like last year.”
“Goodluck,” Rosa said. “And don’t cause another explosion.”
“Can’t promise that,” you told her, chuckling a little before leaving the great hall.
Potion was one of the subjects that you love. There’s just something so satisfying about making potions, watching how different ingredients could make a potion that could heal you or cause an explosion that’ll put you into detention for the rest of the school year.
“Oh, if it isn’t the mudblood. I’m surprised that you’re still here,” Ava Kendrick sneered the moment you stepped inside the room.
“Oh? Well, at least I didn’t fail potions after your cauldron exploded,” you smiled at her.
“You put something in it!” she hissed.
You shrugged. “Did anyone see? No, so you can’t just accuse me of something I didn’t do.”
“Why you—”
You turned away, not bothering to talk to Ava as you made your way to the corner of the potion classroom. This was the place where you do your potions, away from the crowd, away from Snape, and possibly away from the people in case someone decided to ruin your potion.
Why are you saying this?
Because someone is sitting at your table.
“This is my seat,” you couldn’t help but say in disdain to the person.
The person was hooded, you couldn’t see they’re face properly since he was hunched over the table staring into his textbook. You frowned when they didn’t respond, are they deaf? The small irritated part of you thought to yourself as you sat down next to him.
“Who even are you?” you said bluntly.
He was wearing the purple robes of Ravenclaw — which just reminded her Slytherin is sharing a class with — you don’t really talk much with Ravenclaw, only a few times in class but not someone she could call a friend.
“Don’t you remember me?” the person said.
A guy.
You crossed her arm. “Should I know you?”
“You should,” he hummed and tilted his head to her, a small smile playing on his face. “Especially when I didn’t catch your name after you bumped into me in the train, my lady. Have you been avoiding me?”
You stare at him for a long moment, taking in his features.
Purple hair… with the same purple eyes smiling up at you with a sparkle in his eyes.
“You’re—”
“Marius von Hagen in the flesh,” he sat up properly and held out a hand. “So since I’m here I guess I’m your partner for potions. After all, we're sharing a table…”
“That is not how partnering works,” you said, feeling warmth creep up your neck.
Wait, is the suddenness making you flustered?
Marius hummed and leaned against the table, tapping his wand into the table.
“I doubt Snape would still let out a switch,” he muses. “Come on, don’t tell me you don’t really avoid me. That makes me… sad. You really don’t like being around? That hurts.”
He pouted and turned around. Panic flared at your mind.
We’re you too mean?
“No, no,” you said immediately. “I was just joking around — I mean it’s the first time that I met you and I haven’t talked to you. I even fumbled meeting you in the first time in the train that’s why I’m so surprised that you were talking to me—”
“Pft–”
You stopped.
Marius wasn’t pouting anymore but laughing, his shoulders were shaking like he was trying not to laugh but couldn’t stop himself.
“Sorry, it’s just that you were cute rambling,” he chuckled.
“You weren’t upset?” you said slowly. “I thought that—”
“I’m just messing with you,” Marius said. He stopped laughing but there was a smirk still playing on his lips. “I’ve been looking for you after you bumped into me. You are a hard person to find in this crowd of people.”
“Maybe I don’t want to be found,” you said.
He hummed. “But I found you haven’t I? Maybe… you just needed the right person to look for you.”
for 1k event.... reader pranking marius by doing the tiktok trend where she pretends she doesn't want to share a spoon with him
Oh my god- YES. I love this idea! Thank you for your submission!
⊱ ────── {⋅. ✯ .⋅} ────── ⊰
It was a normal day, where you and your boyfriend Marius were lounging on the couch late afternoon. You casually announced that you were craving ice cream, and Marius was instantly elated, equally interested in indulging. A thought occurred, and you decided this was the perfect time to pull one of those trending Tiktok pranks.
He was quite spoiled in your relationship. You knew how whiny he could get- and you knew best that you've struggled to say "no", especially to giving him attention. Which was why this was going to be fun.
You watched as he gets up from the couch, then brings back the tub of blueberry cheesecake ice cream, and- one spoon.
He holds the tub out to you to let you do the honours of opening it. You peel off the cover, revealing the creamy mixture with light purples swirling. He holds the spoon out to you with a smile, to which you softly shake your head and push it back to him.
"You can have the first bite." You say smiling sweetly. His lips curl into a lovesick grin, his chin resting in his palms.
"Miss, do you really mean it?" He bats his eyelashes at you- what a dramatic. Still, you giggle and nod, letting him take the spoon back. He scoops the ice cream and puts it in his mouth. He lets out a satisfied hum as it melts. Then, naturally, he hands the spoon back to you.
You pause. Then you grab a napkin from beside you to wipe the spoon clean.
Marius freezes.
You watch as your boyfriend stares at your hands almost in horror. He was too stunned to even speak, his mouth agape as he continues to watch you scoop your own bite and taste it.
"Miss..." He says slowly. You look at him, pretending to be confused. You tilt your head and Marius stays silent for a good second, until he suspiciously narrows his eyes and takes the spoon back.
He's just imagining things, right? He scoops another bite into his mouth, then hands you back the spoon. You wipe it again- and he doesn't think he can take it. You almost don't get the chance to scoop the ice cream, as Marius attempts to slam the cover back on to prevent you.
"Baby..." Marius's voice turns soft, his lips in a pout. Oh, he was already pouting. It certainly did not take long for him to confront you- especially when he pulled out that pet name. How adorable your boyfriend was. "What are you doing..?"
"What do you mean?" You ask sweetly. Still, you want to try and prolong his reaction to see what he does.
"You wiped it." He says, his eyes looking down. He looks at you like you've just committed a crime. "Why did you wipe it?"
"I don't know what you're talking about." You say, continuing to pretend. Marius looks offended, stares at you for a moment before taking matters into his own hands. He takes the spoon, taking another bite of ice cream. Then he quickly scoops it again, trying to feed you. You laugh, instantly backing away as he sees if you'll dare to avoid it again.
"Marius! W-Wait- okay!" After a lot of swatting and kicking, Marius backs off, spoon still in hand.
"Miss, you're avoiding me..." Marius pouts again. "We're supposed to share things- we kissed five minutes ago!"
You giggle, sighing as you realize you can't keep this up anymore. Especially when he has fifty reasons to share a spoon ready apparently.
"I'm sorry, it was a prank my love." You say stroking the side of his cheek.
"I can see that now..." Marius huffs like a child. "Still..."
Marius suddenly gains determination again and holds the spoon out to your lips. Instead of eating it himself, he was dead set on making you share with him.
"Say 'ahhh'." He coaxes. "Open up."
You laugh softly, leaning closer and letting him feed you. He watches you finally take a bite out of the spoon- the same spoon, clearly satisfied as he hums in approval.
"See, doesn't it taste much better when I feed you?" He asks.
"Does it?" You ask innocently. Marius rolls his eyes playfully at your sarcasm.
"Of course it does." He scoops the ice cream, feeding you another bite. His expression isn't pouty anymore. That familiar smile of his was still there, but his eyes were steady, in way that made your heart beat faster. You knew that look- the look when he wanted something.
"I am your boyfriend." He explains, like it's the most obvious thing in the world. You open your mouth to reply, but are only met with another bite of ice cream that he continues to feed you. "And if you forget... I'll just remind you that I am yours. Even if I have to feed you."
"Marius...-" You want to say something, to tell him that you're not a baby and that you didn't need to be fed. But your boyfriend shifts, sitting closer. His hand was lazily draped over the back of the couch, propped up and holding his cheek. He gazes at you, never taking his eyes off you.
"So-" He continues softly, his eyes slowly flickering to your lips, then to your eyes. "Are you going to let your boyfriend spoil you, or do I need to keep proving my point?"
Somehow, even though you get spoiled by Marius, he still ends up getting what he wants.

Artist!reader x Marius where you guys have painting dates
It doesn't matter the type of art you do (unless it's AI get out), Marius loves watching you work. He'll stop whatever he's drawing mid-way to stare at you. Your eyebrow is furrowed in concentration and you look adorable to him.
"concentrating miss?" Marius can't help but tease but really, he's just admiring your talent. "Why don't you put those in an exhibit? I'll even endorse you."
"no way!" His teasing is a lot, your cheeks flushing at the idea of hundreds... if not thousands of people looking at your works in an official exhibit. Maybe one day but definitely not now!
Marius is suddenly chuckling in your ear. Giving a kiss to your temple before going back to his work. Now you need to try and regain your lost concentration. Thanks Marius...
AN: First time doing this but I'm having a lot of brain rots since this has been on my mind for a long time now. Also this is based to his MR card where they're all wizards and witches so I pulled a Harry Potter AU. Honestly don't know if I should make this a whole series...
You can also read it here in my Ao3 acc!
parts 2 here...
Ravenclaw! Marius Von Hagen x Slytherin! Reader: fluff, difference of socioeconomics. bullying from Slytherin, muggle born reader, more on Marius POV so kinda ooc... also fem reader!
Description: Marius is used to the constant attention that follows him around, so how come you aren't fawning at him like the others used to be?
An unfamiliar face in a crowded room
Marius was used to the constant fawning with every step that he takes to the Hogsmeade station, holding his trolley.
"Isn't the youngest of the von Hagen?"
"He does look like his older brother."
"But why is he alone? Where's his parents?"
"They must be busy, I mean being one of the most influential wizarding families after all."
"Poor kid... he must have felt alone since most of the kids here are with their family."
"Another year without them?"
It was the usual gossip that always followed him around whenever he went. Marius knew that his father and brother are both busy handling the familial affairs but sometimes it still stings more than he would admit.
It was September 1st once again, the time when everyone was headed to Hogwarts before the classes started the next day. This year was the start of Marius' sixth year, placed in Ravenclaw like the rest of his family beforehand.
He remembered the first time he had come here. His first year wasn't exactly a blast as he had thought. People fawned at him, from first years to seniors who would always try to find a way to look at him and gawk as if they couldn't believe that was in the same school as them.
The prodigal son, they say or the young master of von Hagen. He excelled in charms and defense against the dark arts, everyone congratulated him but as time passed by the comparison had started until it was the only topic that circulated around him ever since.
It was a good thing that Giann or even his father wasn't around, it would only fuel the gossip that already surrounds them.
He just hoped that maybe this year would be different at least. Well that's what he hoped for the last six years too.
Marius pushed his trolley forward, keeping his chin up just like what he had learned, ignoring the whispers around him as he stepped onto the platform where the Hogwarts express chugged.
A lot of students are already boarding the express, a few of them were waving their farewell to their parents and for a split second, he wished that maybe Giann and his father were here to bid him goodbye.
He took a deep breath. "Relax, it's just another year."
Before he could hoist his trunk someone bumped into him.
Hard.
"Ow—watch it—" he said, turning at them and seeing who they were.
A girl around his age, not one that he recognized from his first year or from the files that Payton had given to him beforehand to familiarize everyone in Hogwarts before his first day knowing that a lot of people, whether from first years to higher years were trying to befriend him for his last name.
But he was sure he would have remembered you for the past few years in Hogwarts.
"Oh, I'm sorry," you said distracted as you shook her head, apologetically. You were holding your trunk alongside with your cat carrier, juggling both of them awkwardly.
You were chaotic, so different from the usual elegant and graceful students that orbited around him.
But what bothers him the most was he wasn't gawking at him. No, Merlin, is that Marius von Hagen? Not even, a blush or a stammer.
You just said, 'sorry' like he wasn't anybody else but a normal person.
Marius opened his mouth to say something, maybe something charming or witty—
But you already turned around, mumbling to yourself as you dragged your trunk.
"Great... accidentally bumped into someone, might be late and probably all of the compartments are occupied now..."
Marius stares at her like she just hit him with a hex.
"Wait..." he said, flabbergasted. "Who—"
Before he could even take another step, she was already swallowed up by the crowd but he did see something else. A glimpse of green in your clothes, a Slytherin perhaps...?
Interesting.
Very interesting.
Most of the Slytherin also respected him, alongside them he was after all a von Hagen, just like the other Slytherin's whose parents were well known and wealthy.
However, there are also those who had despised him for it too.
But you aren't any of them, there was no in between them. You don't recognize him, like he means nothing to you.
Marius honestly doesn't know if he should be offended or not.
But he likes to prefer, intrigued.
It's... terrifying but at the same time...
It was refreshing...
He let out a small smile. Maybe... just maybe this year would be different.
or you and Marius think you're so smart using non-verbal languages to hide your relationship around the other NXX members.
Unfortunately for you, your teammates are smarter than that.
Crossposted on Ao3 as an Marius x OC if you don't want to wait for everything to be converted :D

I. Sign Language
Vyn arrives early to the NXX meeting-- to his chagrin.
The first one to catch on to your hijinks is Vyn, because why wouldn't he?
All things considered, Vyn was having a good day. He had woken up early and didn't feel groggy for once; his plants were thriving when he had watered them that morning, and he only had one scheduled lecture.
With such a nice morning, of course his afternoon only goes downhill after that.
The sun is just setting as he arrives at the NXX office in the afternoon. He swiftly removes his coat, entering the high-security building using the improved identification system Luke and Marius had set up. He was ready to make himself a nice pot of tea and maybe even dig into the secret pile of desserts he, Rosa, and Luke love to stash in the fridge while he waited for the others. He was about to enter the kitchen when he noticed two other NXX members were already there.
Marius is leaning on the bar counter, one foot on the support bar of a kitchen stool and the other planted on the ground, fiddling with his phone. That was normal. What was odd was the way you were nearly folded on a chair, your head in your hands, as you looked numbly to the side. Usually, you were very chipper and eager to talk to the other CEO. Vyn watches as you groan, making Marius look up from his phone.
He sees Marius' right hand form into the shape of an okay gesture, and he tilts his head.
Are you okay?
Vyn raises an eyebrow in interest. He didn't know Marius knew sign language. Even odder, you look up at him from your stooped position on the counter and sign back, shaping your hands into a loose C shape on your chest and dropping them down.
Tired. You sign back. Vyn sees you smile a little before continuing. You look like shit.
Marius scoffs, hands moving quickly to sign his reply.
Excuse you, I'm an absolute looker. Marius argues. Plus, you wouldn't be so damn tired if we weren't up all night fu-
That was all Vyn needed to see before he stepped into the kitchen, making sure his footsteps were heavy.
He had to make sure to make his presence known. He could only hope his smile looked normal as he walked up to the two, even when he felt the edges of his mouth twitching.
Screw getting dessert, Vyn thought. He felt like he was going to be sick.
"Hi Vyn, " You say, smiling as you right yourself up on the chair, resting your chin on your hand. "You're here early."
"It's almost five in the afternoon." Marius deadpans. "The only thing early here is his graying hair due to his age-" Marius is cut off by you smacking his arm. Vyn watches unimpressed as the younger male jumps.
"Ow! What??"
Vyn looks blankly at Marius as he goes about making his tea, pouring the already-hot water into his cup of black tea. After the appropriate steeping time, he looks back at the two, only to find them still squabbling. Vyn tunes them out. There was zero indication of the explicit conversation that the two were having earlier on their faces.
Innocent as May children these two. Vyn thinks drily.
He takes a long sip of his tea as he thinks about the consequences of this newfound information. For their team and for the world at large. Ideally, the team dynamics wouldn't really change all that much. Vyn knew the two weren't the type to mix business with pleasure. Then again, these two were the most well-known public figures in their little group. If word got out about the two CEOs dating, they were going to get into a press nightmare.
If you and Marius were truly dating, then PAX and Hyperia's stocks were about to soar through the roof. He watches the two of you argue, feeling a headache coming on.
Really, this wasn't worth coming in early at all.
"Vyn! Can you tell this heathen not to bother me and that he looks more like a crumbled pumpkin." You plea to the psychologist. Vyn doesn't know how their conversation devolved to this but to your delight, Vyn promptly threw a piece of cold apple pie to Marius' face with a smile.
Justice is a treat best served cold, after all.
