marius-roman-dio replied to your post “What if Marius had just kicked you out of the house after you ruined...”
"You are incorrigible."
“And you love me.”
AU: "When was the last time you ate something?"
David glanced up thoughtfully at the clock and his brows rose in surprise. "Oh, time has flown, I-... I can't quite remember if I stopped for lunch or not."
@marius-roman-dio:
Marius had been craving Bianca’s company over the past few nights. His last visit to The Parents had drained him of his good energy and Bianca’s presence always seemed to alleviate the heavy clouds with a thousand rays of sunshine. He had come to love her, yes, and so being with her now in her room, in private was a gift in and of itself.
Sitting next to her on the bed, he was telling her about this magnificent painting that had been dug up out of a collapsed cellar, which illustrated a poem by Sannazaro quite perfectly. How he had travelled to Pisa to see it and how breathtaking it had been.
But the sudden, gentle heat of her hand close to his cheek immediately drew his focus back onto her face, realising she had perhaps payed attention to only half of his story. This did not upset him, especially not when he saw that too familiar gaze in her eyes.
He gently reached for her hand, lifted it to his mouth and kissed the inside of her palm, sky blue eyes seeking hers. “Do my stories bore you, darling one? I could speak of your beauty instead. Luckily I do not have to move far to find it.”
The faintest pink raised to her cheeks at Marius’ words, not at the cause of his offer, but at the guilt born from causing him to assume he was boring her. As one of her hands remained in his grasp, her other hand come to rest on top of it.
“Oh no, my lord. I would much rather hear of your journey. I have already heard plenty about my beauty from others while you have been away. And although without doubt, your words would be infinitely more eloquent than theirs, I crave a change of topic. Stagnant conversation serves only to dull the mind.”
All these things, even said in her usual gentle voice and with utmost naturality were things she would only say to Marius. Many others would find it reproachable of her to admit being bored of hearing them all speak of her beauty. Being vain and ungrateful, weren’t those the worst sins a woman could commit? Oh and pretentious too, to claim she was in need of smarter and varier conversational topics, it was also too close to an insult to all her house guests. But it was true, that she had been suffering a lack of interesting guests lately.
“Perhaps my mind had been dulled... oh my, such a plight!” she glanced down, seemly distraught for a moment, then she looked back into Marius' eyes, almost urgently “Go on, you must tell me about this painting, how did the cellar collapse? wasn’t the painting damaged?”

It was odd that such a little thing would enthral her like that. She couldn’t stop peering at Marius’ eyes. A strand of blond hair had separate from the rest and fell over his temple, and Marius had no fixed it, he let it rest there on his cheekbone, right beside his eye. And now the individual strands of blond hair were getting caught on his equally blond eyelashes and the contrast with the blue of his pupil and the light gleaming on his eyes was mesmerizing.
Bianca had been listening to Marius. She had been listening, truly, to whatever was that he was saying. But now her attention had been stolen it away and she couldn’t focus on his words.
Her hand reached, almost out of its own volition —and Marius had been still talking but his voice come to a halt as Bianca’s fingers moved the loose strand out of the way, tucking it behind his ear and then trailing down, caressing the outer edge of his ear and lingering at the earlobe. Only then she was free of her trance. She withdrew her hand.
“...I’m sorry, you were saying?”
"May I come in?"
" ... Yes. You don't have to ask. You're always so formal."
how is professor Marius in bed? fantastic or have you had better?
"Professor de Romanus? We haven't done -- he's married."
last time, on the vampire chronicles @marius-roman-dio
“Sure, but I’d much rather actually see you. The phone’s just not the same.” And with that, he can’t keep his hands to himself anymore, affectionately bringing his arms around Marius. Lestat tries to ‘play it cool’ around most everyone, but not with him. Marius is one of the few people he’s truly comfortable being himself around.
