I've had a good cry about it and have come to accept that... I'm gonna have to get myself one of those small suitcases with the long retractable thingies? (thanks for helping me out here, brain) I used to have one back in school but yeah. didn't expect there would come a point in my life where I'd need something like that as a replacement for a regular bag :/

10. what’s something you’re excited for?

I've got a playlist dedicated to songs to listen to when I am feeling depressed or simply in a (very) bad mood. Lately I'm feeling very connected to my first language so I chose a German song for this question:

Kapelle Petra - An irgendeinem Tag wird die Welt untergehen (here on Youtube - one english curse word is part of the lyrics).

Basically this song tells you someday the world will end but every other day it won't happen. It's very helpful when I get lost and spiral in catastrophic thinking which I'm prone to do.

I do wanna name a second song: Die Ärzte - Himmelblau (here on Youtube - this is part of a live concert from Rock am Ring so there are blinking lights).

I heard this song immediately after I getting my new job which meant leaving my abusive ex boss. So in that moment it became a very meaningful song that shuffle put on for me. I didn't had that connection when I heard it live (saw that band a few times, they're very fun and reflect their ways.)

To sum it up: The sky is blue, the world is yours, the rest of your life starts now and it's gonna be amazing.

10. I'm excited for the new notebook that should arrive tomorrow because then I can start planing and designing next year's witchy practice. Although I'm wondering if I should start my witch year on November 1st instead of January 1st.

Hi Bree! Please tell me you have some advice on how to bless a family with four loud, obnoxious (did I mention LOUD?!) children and parents who let them run wild and do whatever. I want them to get a nice house that is bigger for their family far FAR away from me and my neighbourhood.

It's not even summer holiday yet and these kids will not stop yelling, crying, screaming, etc. (Social services have been called when they left their kid outside crying for hours on end, every single day) I need them out of my life, fast.

EESH. I've had a few neighbors like them. Makes a witch want to start turning people into toads....

I'd just do exactly what you've already suggested - bless them with a new opportunity. Whether it's a job promotion or a nice new home they can't pass up, weave a little attraction magic that either draws the new circumstances to them or draws them as a family unit to someplace else (hopefully better for them and for you).

Hopefully things will get better and the kids will be safe and looked after properly.

Hi Bree! I've been diving into magical powders lately and you seem to be quite the expert (pestlework is on the top of my wishlist). I have a few recipes from a different book which use corn starch or talcum powder as a base. Your recipes don't seem to use a base of that sort. Would there be any benefit to using a base like that (besides bulk)?

I'm sure you could use them if you wanted to, either as a dedicated base, a component in their own right, or as a bulking agent. The main practical benefits I can think of are cost difference (between food starch or talc and bulk powdered herbs) and being able to use starch or talc outdoors without the harm to plant life that a salt base would cause. So it's a matter of personal preference, I suppose.

I get most of my powdered herbs from the supermarket or from sites like Starwest Botanical or Bulk Apothecary, and most of my powders are made in small batches. (Except, of course, for the ones I make in bulk for sale.) So I usually just use the plant matter, since I don't need much. But that's me and of course your mileage will vary.

I actually don't know if I have a preference. Colourful flowers are great but I'm also inclined to soft pastel flowers.

Long Cardigans. I crave comfort and I like how they move when move.

23. hugs or hand-holding?

Depends. For friends, hugging. For my girlfriend, linking arms or simply leaning against each other. Shoulders, knees or whatever touching? Yes. very good.
