A ses côtés... Teri Hatcher, sa partenaire de la série culte Desperate Housewives qu’il retrouve sur les plateaux pour la 1ère fois depuis 2012 ! S’ensuivra en 2022/2023 une participation conjointe à la saison 2 de la série Fantasy Island.

Il s’agit pour l’acteur de sa 2ème production (executive) avec la chaîne Hallmark, et fait partie des projets post- Good Witch entre l’acteur et la chaîne de TV. D’ailleurs, il retrouve à la distribution Rod Wilson, qui avait joué dans 4 épisodes de la série TV.

Au scénario, Mark Amato, qui faisait déjà partie de l’équipe technique du Tvfilm For Love and Honor (2016), et Tracy Andreen qui faisait déjà partie de l’équipe de scénariste du Tvfilm Paradis d’Amour (2014).

“From the very beginning I wanted the first Hallmark Christmas movie I produced to be unique,” {...] “I had no idea that we’d be lucky enough to get Teri. "I've got to find a script that's age appropriate. All the Hallmark leads are in their 30s or so. And it's tricky to do that kind of a love story at my age in something that makes sense. But let's start with Teri and see what happens. And sure enough, she only read about 10 pages and she said yes,"

You can have chemistry with an actor if you're both good enough, pretty quickly. But you don't get the camaraderie and banter you get with us."

"I realized I was falling right back into being Mike Delfino because we'd done it for almost 9 years. So that first scene when we started talking, even though Ethan is a very different character with much more personality and more animated, I fell back into this quiet Mike Delfino thing. And so, we really had to kind of stop on that first day and check ourselves. And make sure that we were being Joyce and Ethan. And not Mike and Susan."

A Royal Winter (2017)

Impression: as tired as this storyline gets, girl finds out boy is a prince... yawn... this movie truly does tug at your heartstrings. The on screen chemistry between Maggie and Prince Adrian will keep you watching.

Collection: yes. Might actually stay awhile too
