Time Time Time Time
Time, I have lost so much of time 55 years just gone when my time stop?
Most people feel that the clock ticks by quickly. But for longer durations, such as a decade, a pattern emerged: older people tended to perceive time as moving faster. When asked to reflect on their lives, the participants older than 40 felt that time elapsed slowly in their childhood but then accelerated steadily through their teenage years into early adulthood.
There are good reasons why older people may feel that way. When it comes to how we perceive time, humans can estimate the length of an event from two very different perspectives: a prospective vantage, while an event is still occurring, or a retrospective one, after it has ended. In addition, our experience of time varies with whatever we are doing and how we feel about it. In fact, time does fly when we are having fun. Engaging in a novel exploit makes time appear to pass more quickly in the moment. But if we remember that activity later on, it will seem to have lasted longer than more mundane experiences
From your very first steps taken, to your last – it tells a tale of obstacles, of loss and love, the times you fall – and the moments when you stand. It defines who you are, that you’re human, that you’re breathing. It creates a vivid summary of the simplest things, like the beating of a heart, and lets you relive the story of you. Your life. Most of us have had the experience at one time or another of having an old lover suddenly appear out of nowhere, leaving us feeling, for a time at least, shattered, through action, a man becomes a hero but still leaves a hero confused, and conflicted.
Loss is very painful, this is true even with time, thinking about it can give a knot in your stomach and a lump in your throat thinking of the many things you did have time for and thinking of the times you wasted on foolish things yet you do desire to shift your energy, mind, and heart towards a different direction. In other words, what can you do to begin to create the life that you want after your devastating loss of time.
Hard men make easy times, easy times make weak men, weak men make hard times, hard times make strong men. Be strong, never give up on your dreams, If you as old as I am you only have a few dreams left, act on the ones you can achieve, the ones you know you can and victory will inevitably come into your life. Leave the foolish dreams alone, talk about them to anyone wit more time and maybe one of them will make that dream become reality.
No one, not one can do your time, but no one I can think of has ever captured that experience that you will
