Renata Oganesian & Mark Bardei finished in 4th place at the Junior World Championship
They didn't fall but made too many small mistakes for the podium. Still a 4th place is amazing and it gives Ukraine two spots for next year !
Renata Oganesian & Mark Bardei (UKR) are 3rd after the Short Program !
They were fantastic today, their triple twist is huge !
I hope they skate clean tomorrow!
aaand another medal for Ukraine in JGP series! this time in pairs! who could've thought? i really like Oganesian/Bardei. we haven't had a descent pair that looks very appealing on ice for 4 years!!! i wish them good luck for their future and hope they will stay together and represent Ukraine as long as possible!
i have so many feels about our juniors! Nazarova/Nikitin in ID, Oganesian/Bardei in pairs, Pavlov (baby, i'm waiting for the 3A!) and Paniot in men's field. oh, and i also like Gaistruk/Oleinik and Golubtsova/Belobrov. + i still hope our seniors Popova and Usmantseva/Talan will finally show what i expect them to show.
in other words, we have so much talent! i'm praying for this talent to not to be lost like it happened many times before.
