Considering mark is literally a 6”4 friendly giant, I feel like he would loveee physically touch. his girl would always be tucked beside him, or on his lap🥹I can also see him playing with her hair all the time :’)

mark is such a sweetie. he may seem intimidating because of how tall and built he is, but he’s really just a big teddy bear who loves to cuddle and have you all over him.

his love language is definitely physical touch. he keeps an arm around your waist when you’re out in public, keeps you tucked into his side at all times when you’re on the couch. he just has to keep you close because he loves you and your touch.

cuddling in bed is a must. mark would cuddle you all day every day 24/7 if he could. he loves when you sleep on his chest or stomach. he loves to wrap you in his arms and hold you close. he’s the type of guy to stroke your arm or your thigh with his thumb when he has his hand on you.

he also loves having you lay on his lap so he can play with your hair. mark plays with your hair all the time when you cuddle because it’s comforting for both of you and sort of a stress relief. running his fingers through your hair, attempting to braid it if it’s long enough, he just loves it all.

mark is a big teddy bear. (and i love him. you should too.)

like he never becomes an actual part of their thing

but sometimes he joins, and sometimes he just hangs around because he’s had a long day and just wants to cuddle

the relationship is just you, ethan and rutger but mark is there to fill in when you need him. mark and ethan have always been close, they're roommates, best friends, they're super close which means hes grown close to you too. mark is also close with rutger, so when he's joining in it just works.

when the three of you have been official for a little while, you don't shy away from being affectionate around the other guys. like one day, all of your classes were cancelled so you decided to hangout with rutger while ethan was at his only class for the day. however, ethan decided to skip so he could spend the day with you and rutger instead. you were sitting on the couch between your boys, watching old re-runs of how i met your mother when mark walked into the sophomore house huffing out the biggest sigh you'd ever heard.

mark threw his bag down, kicked his shoes off, and plopped down on the couch next to rutger. he explained he had a long day with class and now he had to work on a project with luca for their business class. ethan felt bad, stating he wished he could his best friend.

however you knew exactly how to help mark.

mark was just a big teddy bear, so every once in a while he'd join in with the cuddling when he needed it. you got up from the couch, causing rutger to whine about how he wanted you to stay. you extended your arms out for the boys, hoisting both ethan and rutger off the couch.

"come on boys, lets go"

"where are we going?"

"ruts room. youre coming too estapa."

so you lead the way upstairs to rutgers room with the three hockey players following behind you. you plopped down on rutgers bed, getting comfortable and motioning for the boys to come lay down with you. ethan wasted no time hopping into rutgers bed and pulling you into his chest. rutger laid down next, letting out a content sigh as he laid his head on your boobs and nuzzled his cheek against your chest. mark was last to join, laying his head on your tummy and wrapping his arms around your thighs. you laid your head on ethans chest as you started to run your fingers through mark and rutgers dark blonde hair.

"feeling better marky?"

cuddling with these three is the absolute best! mark loves to be the big spoon and so does rutger. but ethan? he’ll be the little spoon. as much as he loves to hold you, he doesn’t mind being held either.

the four of you decided to watch a movie at the sophomore house, with all of you squeezing into rutgers bed. mark was shoved against the wall, and you were in between him and rutger, who was on the outside. ethan was laying between your legs with his head on your tummy.

the boys love cuddling with you. mark is just a giant teddy bear, he loves cuddling. rutger loves it too, and ethan loves when someone runs their fingers through his hair.

ethan falls asleep first with his face nuzzled against your tummy as you and rutger took turns running your fingers through his hair. mark and rutger have their heads laying on you too. your body is pressed against rutgers as his head falls to your shoulder. mark has his cheek pressed against the top of your head that’s resting on his pec. you’re all very comfortable and soon enough fast asleep.

your bodies are all intertwined with one another, just how you like it. like i said, cuddling with them is the best

but their first kiss once they’re official, really dating, is such a sweet moment.

well now you have to tell us how mark and ivy’s first kiss officially dating goes

i can see them having one of those cliche like movie kisses. hear me out with this one: their “first kiss” is what makes them official. like stop the fake dating and actually become a couple.

they’re both in love with each other, it’s just a matter of someone confessing and making things official first. i’m thinking it’s after mark and ivy’s fight, after she sleeps with adam.

there’s some sort of formal event for the hockey team, ivys figure skating, SOMETHING that requires them to dress up and bring a plus one. they obviously bring each other, but it’s tense the whole night. they haven’t really talked much since the adam thing.

but a slow song comes on and mark is like you know what? i’m doing it. im confessing. i’m making this official.

they start dancing, sharing longing looks, ivy starts talking, mark starts talking, the song changes tempo and that’s when they kiss. like as the song builds, the lead up to their kiss builds too.

once they kiss, it’s so passionate and full of love they know they have to be official.

(i have the scene and song in my mind and it’s perfect. cliche but perfect. i think i need to write a full fic for this)

I could so see this with mark and ivy too!!! not dating, fake dating and real dating their both so so touchy with each other. mark loves holding ivy all the time and ivy loves being in his arms

mark and ivy both love physical touch. mark looks intimidating sometimes, but he really is just a big teddy bear who loves to cuddle. and miss ivy will take advantage of that…

whether she’s having a good day or bad day, ivy will just come up to mark and wrap her arms around him. he’ll instantly fold his arms around her and pull her into the tightest, yet gentlest embrace possible.

if the team and ivy are all hanging out at the house or someone’s dorm, ivy is always tucked into marks side. doesn’t matter what they’re doing: watching a movie, bingeing the bachelor, throwing the craziest party of the year, mark and ivy are wrapped up in eachother’s arms.

the boys definitely make fun of mark for how touchy and cuddly he and ivy are—fake dating and actually dating.

oh and when ivy falls asleep on mark for the first time he thinks it’s the cutest thing ever. it warms his heart knowing she feels safe and comfortable to fall asleep in his arms
