I know it’s ridiculous. But I’d like to see a Dead Boy Detectives AU where Edwin, Charles, Simon, and Mark are all alive, attending school in the same era, and nobody dies. And Mark works past his internalized racism and homophobia and starts being a decent friend to Charles, and eventually Charles asks him to be his best man at his and Edwin’s wedding.
I mean, Simon and Monty both got sort-of redemption arcs (albeit with tragic endings), why not Mark, too?
