I purposefully chose to share the lyric video instead of the official music video of this song because I feel it better embodies the message of the song. 

It's so refreshing to hear someone sing about women with such respect, adoration and understanding, especially now when the radio and television is full of so-called music that objectifies us as women and reduces us to nothing more than "ass". 

I wish we wouldn't feed into that. I wish we wouldn't let our male counterparts degrade us to a level where we think we can't be more than sex to be recognised.
