the end of july has come and the rec list that literally no one has been waiting for is finally here! this month, i enjoyed reading almost 100 different fics totalling over 500,000 words, so i think i have credentials to say that the fics and authors listed below are some of the best!!

↳ a spin-off of crush culture, and i kind of love this one even more? i’m a sucker for grumpy x sunshine (whether actually or by proxy in comparison), and this was so good! it was a lil angsty, but like the perfect amount. just enough push and pull to make the ending satisfying :D

↳ not ususally an angst girly, but it was worth it for this one!! ti really takes you on a rise w this one, and it’s so good!
The first few recommendations I gave were for games I’d already finished, This one is for a game I’ve almost finished. It’s called Intrusion 2 (the first one was on those old Flash websites I believe) and it’s a fun run N gun with some nice physics.
That broken robot from the first pic is something that jumps around, grabs boxes and hangs from the walls. The bottom robot is similar but it flies (and “dies” much quicker).
Boom! Here again with another recommendation from my recently played. This time it’s Spaceport Hope, a side-scrolling shooter with multiple worlds to explore, weapons to collect and people to meet (and shoot in the face).
I quite enjoyed this game. Had some pretty fun bosses (which I really need to go back and screenshot).
The best way to start off this blog is to recommend this super comfy Clicker style game. It’s called Plantera and it’s on Steam and I think I saw it over on the WiiU marketplace too.
You plant stuff (hence the name) and level up to unlock more plants and animals. A nice game for when you want a little downtime from something more intense.
