omfg, A song written for Mark Teixeira by a big ADORABLE fan
Posada at First?
What? Oh well... at least he won't just spend most of the game twiddling his thumbs. It seems to be working. Double for Jeter (31 to 3000), triple for Granderson, and a sac fly for Teixeria. 2 runs on 8 pitches? I'll take it. Let's see how the rest of the game goes. I'm guessing this won't be a permanent switch because I don't think Teixeria can take sitting around, just waiting to hit.
After last night's 15 inning game, I hope this one ends in 9. We're running out of pitchers...
the greatest teammates EVER!!!!
Montero's 2011 Fantasy Baseball Predictions
My 2011 Fantasy Baseball Predictions
MVP
NL: Albert Pujols, 1B, STL
The Reason: Albert is the most consistent hitter in the MLB. He consistently puts up MVP numbers and this year should be no different. I expect 110 Runs, 42 HR, 115 RBI, .330 Avg, 8 SB.
AL: Mark Teixeria, 1B, NY
The Reason: Tex is a pure hitter that plays gold glove defense. Last season he batted .256 but still had his usual 100+ runs and RBI with 33 Hr. With his batting average back to his career average of .286, I wouldn’t be surprised if he had career highs in runs and RBI in his second year in New York. 115 Runs, 35 HR, 130 RBI, .286 Avg, 5 SB.
Cy Young
NL: Roy Halladay, SP, Phi
The Reason: Hallday is the top pitcher in the game. He is crafty, has nasty stuff, and is not afraid to go deep into games. He also plays for a winner which will definitely help the win total. 18-6, 2.60 ERA, 1.13 WHIP, 225 IP, 225 K’s.
AL: Jon Lester, SP, Bos
The Reason: Lester is a big, strong pitcher at 6’3’’ and 240 pounds that will eat innings and rack up K’s. It also helps that his offense just added two prized players in Carl Crawford and Adrian Gonzalez, which will help his team score more runs, leading to more wins. 21-4, 3.10 ERA, 1.15 WHIP, 215 IP, 220 K’s.
