Having shot Chaka Khan before (last time was at Hammerstein, the mother of all coincidences) this time we were on the side of the stage at The Kings Theatre in Brooklyn. These side shoots are sometime a chore, as it takes lots of patience to wait for an artist to turn in your direction. Dont worry, stand tall, keep your settings and wait...They will!
80% of photography is being in the right position, the other 20% of what happens is luck.
