My dude is doing his first Inktober this year (he fears ink the way most people fear great changes in life and / or giant zombie spiders), and while I was shoveling him around an art store quizzing him about how he wanted to go about this new adventure and making sure he had access to whatever materials he wanted, he asked if there was a Marker March.
I told him I have no idea...but that there could be.
So ladies and gentlemen and everyone in between and outside of this unusually rabbit hole like court! We're gonna do a Marker March in the spring. Mark your calendars!
... Hehe... Mark your calendars. For Marker March..
-cough- Justbereadyforspringmadness.
Day 13: Watching the conversations between @summer-arts and anons made me want to draw Lance going ghost.
Day 29. I feel like this is a nice contrast to the Danny Phantom fanart I made for the beginning of the month. And yes, I know I said I'd leave the pens alone, but this style was too cute for me to not make an exception.
Day 21.
I wanted to try some new media. Turns out Gelly Roll Souffle pens work pretty well with alcohol pens if you let them dry completely. Not so sure about the coloring though…
Day one of Marker March! Sorry for the delay, I had a long shift.
I haven’t drawn Danny Phantom in a while; it was the first cartoon I really got into, not to mention one of my big influences when I first started drawing. I wanted to get into the Tumblr phandom, but when I started there really wasn’t one and what was there was… Less than pleasant.
I really like how this came out though! I don’t remember having to use my black marker so much before, though I’m glad I waited before blocking it in to see how it looked without.
Working with my Concept markers this time around, although I may add on different markers as the month progresses.
Day 31. Last day and I had no idea what do to draw. Good thing Undertale is still good.
Day 24. I did an inktober piece with these two last year and decided to play with them in color.
