The most magical part about @dancingonice to me is getting to watch adults pick up skating in real time. Without many flashy elements (yet), the routines in the beginning weeks are elegant, simple, and celebrate the base values of what make ice skating… skating. Gliding, turning, and spinning with a professional skater by their side is endless fun. And me filming up close means we can see the small efforts that eventually make skating effortless. ❄️ Unfortunately we won’t get to see this routine performed in its entirety, because of an injury that took Billie out of the show.
