“*sniff* Jiminie, really, you don’t have to…” I sniffled beneath the edge of my blanket.

Jimin had let himself into my apartment early in the morning to make me breakfast and clean before I woke up. It was just a simple cold but ever since I told him he has been coming over before, in-between and after schedules to check up on me. Sure I could easily take care of myself, but seeing his smiling face from the time I wake up to the time I close my eyes almost made me want to seem more pathetic than I already was.

He scoffed with his back turned to me. He finished placing the last of the silverware on the tray before grasping each side, lifting it up off of the table. He grinned to himself and he carefully wobbled over to the side of the bed, the metal clanking with each uneasy step.

“Eheheheh,” He giggled under his breath as he reached my side, “Wah, this is really trying to jump out of my hands!” He sat gently in the chair he had placed by my pillow the night before. Setting the tray on to his lap I couldn’t help but stare at the beautiful arrangement. He had prepared seaweed miso soup with kimchi, seafood pancake, broiled potatoes and a slice of toast all on the side. He reached over, patting at the pillow beneath my head, “Come on, Let’s sit up! You need to eat all of this before I go!” He sang with a wide smile.

I slowly dragged myself into a seating position, crossing my legs underneath the quilt. Jimin took my hand and softly dropped a couple pills. “Take this medicine for the cold, it’ll help with the congestion and your headaches.” He said quietly, almost a whisper. No sooner that I had swallowed them he shoved a spoon right into my face.

“Say ahh!!!” He chuckled, swinging the spoon back and forth.

“Oh my god, I’m not a child.” I scoffed at him, feeling my cheeks darken.

He pouted just a bit before moving the spoon around once again. Obliging I opened up so he could plop it into my mouth. The blend of soft spices and seaweed blended perfectly in my mouth, a sensation of warmth rushed through my body.

“This is actually really good?” I questioned, staring at him in disbelief.

He pouted once more, “Hey. I can cook! Jin taught me how.” I laughed a bit before poking his cheeks.

“Thank you Jimin, I really appreciate it.” I took the spoon from his velvety hands and began eating on my own, savoring each bite.

He sat there, smiling ear to ear as I ate and he didn’t leave until he made sure I ate every last bite.
