Heyyyy hiiii it’s been a bit since I’ve made an art post but I have more OC refs finished and I’d like to introduce you do them <3

In the next two images, both earlier designs are displayed on their own, along with alternate versions. Edgar’s alternate has the top layer of robes removed, displaying more of the sash wrapped around his lower torso and the arm coverings that stop mid-shoulder. Edgar’s hair is long and is shaved into an undercut, and more of his piercings can be seen. The background is a pale yellow. Markus’ alternate has the brown coat removed, displaying more of the undercoat and sword. The background is light blue. End ID.]

I’ve been tossing around an AU for Edgar and Markus where they meet when they’re younger and before all the bad shit that happens to them happens, and it’s been fun to figure out what they looked like before they were both grumpy old men heheheh

First post on the honest-to-goodness art blog oh boy

First up are two relatively new ocs, Edgar Tremaine (left) and Markus Hearst (right). Edgar is a lighthouse keeper with a tortured past and Markus is a ship’s captain who struck a bad deal. They’re gonna fall in love eventually but they don’t know it yet.

(And they might have a webcomic someday!! I dunno!! I’m bad at committing to things!!)
