In light of James Somerton drama, if you want a really, REALLY good take on queerness in Disney media (especially music) and Howard Ashman, that's FAR superior to James' stolen slop, I highly recommend checking out Marlene Bellissimo.
Marlene, who's channel went under the name "Dreamsounds", is a trans woman musician whose video essays analyze the queerness of Disney media, primarily songs in many of the studio's films.
Her video on Howard Ashman is one of the greatest and incredibly heartfelt - a true love letter to the man who was a driving force in the early days of Disney Renaissance.
