Lex: Inquiring minds want to know…
Lex: Do ye wanna go on a tour of the haunted houses in Scotland?
When: 23 December 1979 Where: Muggle thrift shop Who: Cory + @marlenethemenace
“-- You’re supposed to say I look foxy.”
When: 22 October 1979 Where: Hogwarts Grounds Who: Lux + @marlenethemenace
“Hey,” Lux called, pushing off the wall she’d been resting against. Pink hair blew behind her in the wind, but she didn’t shiver much, as Washington usually offered the same kind of chill. “You’re the girl who commentates, right?” She asked, two brows raised as if she was eager to learn the answer. She already knew the answer.
When: 31 October 1979 Where: #5 Low Street Who: Nell + @marlenethemenace
“Always saw you as more of a Wednesday,” Nell’s compliment was delivered weakly, as she came face to face with Marlene. The party might’ve held all of the school in attendance, but it didn’t make the house any larger. She was bound to run into the owners at some point. She didn’t know if Marlene being drunk or not would help in her favor, but hoped that it would. Damn it all to hell if Nell started having nightmares about Morticia Addams next.
When: 28 August 1979 Where: Hogwarts grounds Who: Jennifer + @marlenethemenace
Jennifer flicked the butt of her cigarette to the ground, blowing out a final puff of smoke. She’d been using more than lately and felt quite hyper today, perhaps manic. “You should try pigtails,” She even randomly offered to a blonde she’d seen lots of times before.
“Hey, commentator girl,” Janna jogged to catch up, her ponytail bouncing in the wind behind her, “Nice work up there.”

Sirius looked at the watch around his wrist, clearly lost in thought as he stroked the leather band. The watch had been a gift from the Potters, when he first moved into their house all those years ago. Sitting here now, thinking of all the places that his brother could be, it was clear to see that the man wasn’t in the best of moods. “Marlene, are you sure we sent that poster to Hog’s Head? I won’t be surprised if Potter decided to go up north for a drink.” He turned to his companion, frowning at the thought of James being so far away from them, without any notice.
when: 11 December 1980 where: Marlene’s Cottage; Banchory who: Maeve Bragnam + Marlene McKinnon ( @marlenethemenace )
Every surface was sticky with icing, but Maeve had stopped caring after only five minutes of wrestling with moist paper towels. The urge to lick her fingers clean was apparent through the entire meticulous process of placing gumdrops up the gingerbread castle’s moat. The sweets had been color coordinated with the Scottish flag, while a familiar holiday melody played a loud chorus. It was about the only music Maeve could tolerate. There was no other reason but nostalgia, her foot thumping along to the extraordinary sounds of trumpets and bells.
“What’s wayward son mean?” Mae asked, breaking any silence or concentration she’d previously been holding onto. She adjusted Santa’s hat on her blonde head of hair, the white pompom attached bouncing from her forehead.
