Speaking of, Lily was slowly stirring awake. Wiping the sleep from her eyes, Lily let out a small groan as she sat up with her hands sliding from her face to her hair.
“Fuck.” Lily muttered, then she turned her head and saw Marlene sitting beside her which made her jump. “Marlene, how– how long have you been here for.”
“Long enough to hear you snore.” She winked.
“I do not snore.” Lily groaned.
“No you don’t, pretty girls like you don’t snore” Marlene had not realised she said that out loud until Lily was looking back at her slightly horrified.
“Shit– shit– what time is it? I need to meet Remus for rounds.” Panicking, Lily stands up frantically brushing her hair with her fingers.
“Don’t worry about that, Remus knew you needed some sleep so he enlisted one of his young ones from his study group.”
“Wh–what? How? What did you do Marlene?”
“Nothing, hey c’mon. Come lie back down.” Marlene had pushed herself against the headboard, both her hands rested on her knees as she looked up to Lily.
