When Courtney had moved to Kismet, she had only known a few people. Her brother in law and her cousin, and of course her husband. Other than that she knew no one. But quickly she had met Marley who has since become one of Courtney's closest friends in town and in life. Armed with some wine and some ice cream, Courtney knocked on Marley's door for a girls night in. "I come bearing gifts," she said and held up the bags in her hands as Marley opened the door.

James knew he owed Marlene a visit, after everything that had happened he knew he had to talk to her, to see how she was doing, he felt terrible for taking so long to visit. Not only he had a lot to say, but he promised he would be better after coming out of hiding and he was still missing time with people he cared about. 

He was about to rang on her door when the little guy to his side asked if he could instead. Harry was something they never expected so early, but he brightened everyone’s life, he didn’t know how he was once worried he would be too much to handle at such a younger age with a war on top, but there he was, James Potter, a father, enamoured with his little one.

Carrying Harry to rang the door bell he waited for Marlene to open the door for them.
