Last week I had the urge to delete all my writing, fanart and social media, but I drew this instead.

Withdrawal from attention Withdrawal from affection Withdraw from interaction

I get a grip Tell myself it's not a coping mechanism if there's little benefaction And then I do it again

Creation, absolution, then inaction

I write And write And expect some good will come of it But I'm chasing a temporary high

Maybe people only create when they're unhappy Maybe that is why it's like this Searching for the sunlight in a forest Waiting for a chance to be more honest

But there is just no cosmic satisfaction

I feel like I'm an addict Maybe it's not normal Because it's itching like a drug

Affection, interaction, inattention

2020 Art Masterpost/ My Year In Art
