What breed are they?
Children's python! They can be a little hard to find outside Australia, but they're amazing pets.

if you vote me for president i vow to make everything the ocean again. no more land only ocean. this will solve all of our problems and replace them with new, far more interesting problems
Yet another president elect who doesn't care about rising sea levels
I feel like a lot of people get "All Art is Political" confused with "All Art is made with Political Intentions" which is not the same.

I know for some people trans headcanons are more about the vibes than anything else, but I personally love to really think them through to absolutely ridiculous conclusions.
Last night we were talking about trans Marty McFly and the fact that Marty Jr. and Marlene are very obviously his biological kids. But to be the right age they would have to have been born in the mid-to-late 1990s, and reciprocal IVF (one of the most popular ways for trans men to father kids) wasn't really pioneered until 2007. Which some people might be tempted to just handwave and say it doesn't matter but I think the much funnier explanation is. Time machine.
I feel like I need to share this because idk if Europeans are familiar with the presence of Aldi in the US, but at least especially in my area they’ve been growing a lot recently. Like Aldi bought out some local failing grocery chains where I live (Louisiana) and have opened Aldis in all these somewhat rural communities and small towns, which for the record I’m fine with
But as a result of this they are advertising a lot more in my area and also in many cases, the people in these areas have never been confronted with Aldi or any European grocery store. So the ads that Aldi is pushing out to its new US customer base feature a cowboy shopping at Aldi who is explaining to new Aldi customers how Aldi works. Like this cowboy is explaining you gotta put a quarter in the shopping cart and why there are very little name brands. A cowboy is how they want to reach their American customer base. They gave us a cowboy
Here he is, the Aldi Cowboy

In Copenhagen you can visit The Round Tower. It used to be an astronomical observatory until light pollution and the vibrations from increased traffic in the streets made it useless for its original purpose.
Today it’s mostly famous for what it looks like on the inside.
It has an equestrian staircase though it’s so smooth it’s really just a gentle slope more than a staircase. It was build like that so our lazy bum king could ride his horse all the way to the top (king not in photo)
And naturally people have also driven cars up the tower
And held a bike race
For a while it was just sort of abandoned by the authorities and became a sloping marketplace
But today it has been restored and become a tourist spot as well as a popular destination for school trips. And yes, you can still watch the cosmos at the top.
I'm a multishipper and a character studier so I'll put Spock in any situation, but sometimes I do have to face the fact that the reason why he hasn't kissed a woman yet is because he invented homosexuality.
grips you. "youre the only person that can save you" does NOT mean people can't help you.
it doesnt mean nobody else is there to pick you up when you fall. it doesn't mean nobody else will wipe the vomit off your chin, the blood from your cheek, the stain on your bed. Whatever. there is dozens of people that want to help you, that want to pull you out of the gutter WITH EVERYTHING in their body. BUT YOU HAVE TO LET THEM!!!
what it means is that YOU ARE the only one that can LET yourself be saved!!!! You need to be okay with the 'humiliation' of depending on another person, with the weakness it takes to say you need somebody or you're sorry, or lost, you're scared, confused, angry. It takes a village to raise a child, and you will NEVER stop being that child, even when younger people come along. You need to let others help OR YOU WILL NEVER GET OUT OF THE HOLE. You can't climb out alone. We can't climb out without you either.

Spock: Do you agree with the sentiment "it's the thought that counts"?
Pike, Exhausted Dad™: ... Yes?
Spock: *nods sagely* The Captain told me to inform you, "we thought about not entering the nebula."
Pike: Spock-
Spock: and took it under extreme consideration-
Pike: Where is The Captain?
Bones: You're missing the important question.
[Pause]
Pike: *eyes widen* WHERE IS THE ENTERPRISE?
Seeing as we're at the halfway point of the year and some of these situations are (hopefully) no longer ongoing, I can actually talk about them. So, new Marlin Life Lore in no particular order:
- Left a cult (don't worry about it)
- Kissed someone who was enbyphobic (boo)
- Quit my job part 2 electric boogaloo
- Tried manifesting as a joke and think I got cursed instead
- Three month long situationship 🥳
- Five older people were hitting on me, but at least 2 of them were actively evil (3 if we count enbyphobic woman)
- Burned bridges with two long-standing industry connections within 3 weeks of one another
- Gathered a Google Drive worth of evidence on my ex-boss (because we can always nuke the remains of the bridge)
- I almost forgot about the car accident
- Moth infestation in my room + then my bed collapsed
- Spent 53 days sleeping on a sofa bed
- Can't go into detail about the stalker for obvious reasons but jfc
Conclusion: I don't know what the writers are doing this season, it's like, pick an antagonist, honestly. What genre are we even in anymore?
- almost forgot about the CEO of my dad's work being investigated for tax fraud in three different continents
Well, she took a several months hiatus from calling it a cult, but it looks like she's back on:
😭
Oh yeah, news dropped today from an unrelated cult from 20 years ago, so I might just happen to live in the Spiders Georg of cities.
Full circle moment. Think I'm about to complete a major character arc.
Happy one year anniversary to this lmao

Pride, 10 years later, by Esquire in 2024. Link includes 20 min video chat between Andrew Scott and Jessica Gunning.
Highlights:
“What’s so wonderful,” Andrew says, as he looks back on Pride’s impact, “is that it’s not about gay people or their sexuality but about their humanity and what [this group] did.”
“To watch the movie is to love the movie,” Andrew explains. And indeed, Pride’s reputation as a family friendly crowd pleaser has a real-life impact: “So many young people still come up to me and say it helped them come out to their parents,” says Jessica. “As soon as you show someone being humanised, it’s easier.”

Highlight:
You’ve co-starred with some of the finest-looking men in the show business: Benedict Cumberbatch, Tom Hardy, James McAvoy and Daniel Radcliffe, to name a few. Is it in your contract that you only work with the most attractive men in the industry?
[Laughs] Absolutely, it is. And I believe it’s in all their contracts as well, which is why they get to work with me.
